The best way to discover Valencia is by wandering through the garden along the old riverbed, where you’ll find the Palau de la Música, which puts on an extensive programme of international concerts, or explore Parque Gulliver, with its play area, skate park and 70 m tall sculpture of Gulliver, inspired by Jonathan Swift’s famous story. Once there, it’s easy to get to the Albufera viewpoint by strolling through the woods in Saler.
Lovers of architectural gems are also in for a treat if they rent an apartment in Cánovas in Valencia.
