The location is spectacular; a very easy walk to all areas of town! The view from the balcony is georgeous, offering a perfect view of the city, old town, the river and bay as well as Mt. Urgull. We enjoyed having cheese and a glass of wine or two on the deck each evening. The apartment is spacious and very well appointed. The furnishings, kitchen appliances and cooking utensils, as well as the overall appearance of the apartment is excellent. The bed is quite comfortable for European standards and there is good lighting in all rooms. The building is lovely with marble stairways, two elevators and is well secured. There is a very limited odd assortment of wine glasses but water glasses seemed to work just fine! Aitor, the Friendly Rentals representative who met us at the apartment was extremely helpful, offering suggestions about restaurants and places to visit. We used his list of restaurants exclusively and found each dining experience extraordinary. Unfortunately we were not there long enough to enjoy them all.
