Er zijn zeven "palecetes" in deze omgeving, en de French House is gelegen in een van deze fantastische gebouwen.
De omgeving is als een kleine oasis in het centrum van San Sebastian, waar men in alle rust kan onstpannen. Op vijf minuten afstand van het appartement treft u de stranden "la concha" en het "Zurriola" strand.
Het appartement:
Het French House heeft 80m2, met houten vloeren door het appartement wat het een warme uitstraling geeft. Het woon-en dineer gedeelte is ruim en gastvrij, van waaruit de gasten een prachtig uitzicht hebben over de tuinen en de rivier. De French House is voorzien van verwarming voor de koudere maanden in het jaar.
Het is een modern 2 slaapkamer appartement, de hoofdslaapkamer heeft een tweepersoonsbed en een aansluitende badkamer. De tweede slaapkamer is geschikt voor twee personen en kijkt uit op de Paseo de Francia.
De keuken is in Amerikaanse stijl en is voorzien van alle moderne gemakken, zoals wasmachine, oven, magnetron, electrische kookplaat, koelkast etc.
Het gebouw heeft een ruime lift die aan de veiligheids standaarden voldoet en ook geschikt is voor rolstoelen.

Centrally located and newly renovated luxury apartment in San Sebastian
This wonderful apartment is an absolute must for any visitor looking for luxury and comfort during their stay in San Sebastian. Centrally located in what was originally a French Palace by the river Urumea, it is a tranquil and peaceful area right in the heart of the city.
The area surrounding the apartment:
"La Maison de France" apartment has been recently refurbished to the highest standards, making it a luxury apartment. This fantastic apartment is situated in the centre of San Sebastian, along Paseo de Francia; this area is a very charming spot, an area which is considered to be very "romantic and tranquil" as it is situated along the river Urumea. There are seven "palacetes" in this area, and the French House is located in one of these fabulous buidlings. From this apartment you can see "el Paseo de los Fueros" and the Paseo de Francia gardens, as shown in the photos above.
Close by this apartment is the train station, Estacion del Norte; this station's interior was designed by Gustave Eiffel, the creator of the Eiffel tower.
In order to cross from one side of the river to the other one uses the Maria Cristina bridge, perhaps the nicest bridge in San Sebastian, and whose ornate obelisques are not only pleasing to the eye, they also represent peace.
This area is like a small oasis in the centre of San Sebastian, where one can breathe in the peacefulness and tranquility.
At only a few minutes from this great apartment you will find "la concha" beach, the "Zurriola" beach, the "Cubos de Moneo", the San Telmo museum, shopping area, the "parte vieja", Gros, etc. As you can see this is a wonderful choice for your accommodation in San Sebastian.
The apartment:
The French House is a luxury, 80m2 apartment, recently refubished in a fantastic "palacette" along the Paseo de Francia; in this same building you will also find the French Embassy. The aparmtent has a modern and comnfortable look, with wooden floors throughout the apartment, which gives it a feeling of warmth. The living and dining area is spacious and welcoming; here you will find a large and comfortable sofa (where the 5th and 6th guests can sleep), TV and DVD, so the guest can relax after a hard day of shightseeing and shopping. The living room is comfortable and welcoming and from here the guests have a wonderful view as they can look upon the gardens and the river mentioned above. This area of the apartment has plenty of natural light as it faces the exterior. The French House comes with heating for the colder months of the year.
This is a two bedroomed apartment, the master bedroom comes with a double bed, dressing area and ensuite bathroom, you can practically hear the birds sing as you wake up each morning. The second bedroom is also exterior facing and looks down on Paseo de Francia and can sleep two people.
Both bathrooms come fully equipped with shower, toilet, sink, hairdryer, towels, etc. The kitchen is american in style and newly fitted, and comes with all the modern conveniences such as washing machine, oven, microwave, vitorcermic cooker, fridge, etc; it also comes with beater, coffe maker, toaster, pots and pans, plates, cutlery and so on and ensures the guest will feel completely at home.
The building where the French House is located comes with a spacious elevator which meets the required standards for safety and wheelchair access.

A magnificent situation for your visit to San Sebastian. It is one of the most delightful areas in town. Living in the center of our city has numerous advantages because of the commercial centers, establishments dedicated to autochthonus gastronomy and the great beach of “La Concha”, one of our three beaches which is surrounded by the gardens of “Alderdi Eder” because of all this it is a very comfortable for your visit in San Sebastian.
Some of our apartments are situated in “Miraconcha” suburb which enjoys of beautiful views to the beach of “La Concha” and is located in the center.
Center Area is an organized area, where buildings and other constructions are perfectly integrated in the environment resulting all this in streets, avenues and walk areas.
The Old Part is only a few meters away and so are the “Kursaal” palace, the fishing port and the famous market of “San Martin” where apart of a supermarket you may also find clothing stores and typical gastronomic products which you can cook in our apartments.
The modern talasotherapy center “La Perla del Oceano” which was one of the most important resorts in the world, nowadays completely reformed and extended in October 2008 is in the beach of “La Concha”.
From this emplacement you can do all you shopping and have access to other one of the big attractions in San Sebastian, its exquisite gastronomy, full of specialties which seduce any palate.
