The zone of Nuevo Ministerios encompasses Paseo de la Castellana, José Abascal Street y Alberto Alcocer Street. Colon is a zone of great financial activity, and is the choice location for the offices of multinational corporations and the most important financial institions both Spanish and Foreign. Although it is not traditionally a tourist zone it is ideally connected by public transport, the primary choice of transport being the Metro that shares the same name Nuevo Minesterios.
