Het Retiro I appartement in Madrid
Gelegen in een woonwijk, naast het Parque del Retiro, en met een zeer eenvoudige en snelle toegang tot het centrum van Madrid. Dit appartement brengt u plezier en is ingericht met smaak.
Het gebied rond het appartement:
Het is een rustige buurt van brede straten, heerlijk voor een wandeling, en slechts een paar meter van het Parque del Retiro, het belangrijkste Park van Madrid. Het is een park van 118 hectare en de belangrijkste ontmoetingsplaats voor de lokale bevolking en toeristen.
Na een mooie wandeling door het park kom je op de Paseo del Prado, waar de meest prestigieuze musea, zoals het Reina Sofia, Thyssen Bornemisza en Prado gelegen zijn.
Met de metro kunt u de stad overal makkelijk bereiken. Het appartement ligt vlakbij verschillende metro-stations van de verschillende lijnen-Goya, Príncipe de Vergara of O'Donnell.

Het heeft een grote bank, een fauteuil, TV, DVD, en andere gemakken zijn aanwezig. De eettafel heeft een capaciteit van zes.

This borders of Salamanca are Paseo de la Castellana, Retiro Park, María de Molina Street y Francisco Silvela Street. Salamanca is one of the few nieghbourhoods in Madrid has incorporated modern town planning thus having perpendicular streets that are organised in well defined blocks.
The neighborhood of Salamanca traditionally has been considered an upper class neighborhood and is requested most by locals and long term visitors and does not feel like your typically touristy neighborhood. This is where you will find Madrid’s most luxirious stores. Salamancas most important streets are Serrano, Velázquez, Goya y Príncipe de Vergara. Serano Street begins at Plaza de Independencia, where the famous Puerta de Alcalá is found. Puerta de Alcalá was designed by the orders of Carlos III and is the main entrance of the Retiro. The Retiro is a symbolic monument for Madrid. Also located in this zone are small palaces that still remain from the 19th century. Serrano Street is one of the most famous Streets in Madrid and of course is the choice location for the most famous and exclusive stores. Here you will find luxurious Shopping centers, cafés and high-ranking restaurants.
Without doubt this area is know for being the best residential area of Madrid. It is very well connected to the historic center, by both Metro and Bus. It is conveiently located a short walking distance from the most important places and museums, but stills offers a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere. In saying that the area is in no way boring, and also offers excitement if that is what you seek. In fact, it is an excellent place to take a pleasant walk, to shop in the most exclusive boutiques, grab a drink at a bar or to eat in a fine restaurant. Salamanca offers an extensive range of Hotels and good restaurants. It also offers options for night-life.

retiro 1 provides very comfortable accommodations for at least five adults; it is well configured to provide maximum privacy with its two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which is en suite. the kitchen is very large and furnished with basic equipment needed to prepare meals. the living-dinning area is quite bright and comfortable and well-suited for relaxing and dinning;very well heated during the months of december and january. the building has a lift. it is on o'donell, a block away from retiro park and within a very short walking distance from the plazas de independencia, cibeles and colon; the prado, reina sofia and thysen are also well within a short and very pleasant walk across the retiro park. other museums including the national library on recolletos are also within a short walk from the apartment. the apartment is a couple of blocks from the nearest metro stops, principe de vergara and goya, which connects to other trains including the cercania and other long distance trains from atocha; and a short walk from the bus stop of the aeropuerto bus with 24 hour service between atocha and barajas. the apartment is less than a ten-minute walk to el corte ingles on alcala and goya, and all the other shops, cafe, bars, restaurants, bakery and other specialty shops along narvaez, principe de vergara, goya, velasquez and serrano. convenience stores such as opencor across the street, and supermercados are also close by. friendly rentals staff is most helpful (nicolas in madrid); responsive to requests for assistance which is provided within the hour particularly for emergencies (loss of hot water). helpful in securing other services (cleaning services) and information on other services in the city including the metro/trains/airport.

It was very big and accommodated our family very well (2 adults, 2 small children). There was a big foyer at the entrance where we actually put our 1 year old's cot so our other child had a room to herself...all the better for long sleep-ins. Location was very close to Retiro park which has lots of playgounds for kids. A small superette just across the street had all the self catering things we required.
