Een zeer ruim appartement in het hart van de oude stad
Dit geweldige appartement ligt net naast Calle Ferran, een geweldige lokatie. Het is recentelijk gerenoveerd en straalt een hoop warmte en karakter uit. Met barretjes, restaurants en clubs voor de deur hoef je niet ver te zoeken naar alles wat Barcelona te bieden heeft.
Het gebied rond het appartement
Het Da Vinci appartement ligt in het hart van de Gotische wijk. Het ligt heel dichtbij een van Barcelona’s mooiste, maar minst bezochte, gotische kerken: Santa Maria del Pi. Het rustige, aantrekkelijke pleintje voor de kerk zit vol restaurants en barretjes met terrasjes ervoor. Je kunt er heerlijk bijkomen met een kop koffie en wat tapas. Het gebied rond het appartement is een geheel van smalle, keistenen straatjes waar je uren kunt rondlopen terwijl je je terug in de Middeleeuwen waant.
Het appartement
De 140 m2 van Da Vinci zijn smaakvol ingericht. Er hangt veel originele kunst aan de muren. In de hal vind je mooie mozaïektegeltjes die gecombineerd met de chocoladebruine, hardhouten vloer een geweldig detail van het appartement vormen. De vijf slaapkamers zijn met verschillende kleurenschema’s ingericht, waardoor ze allemaal uniek zijn. De woonkamer is een uitnodigende ruimte met zijn L-vormige bank met ontelbare kussens. Je kunt hier heerlijk relaxen.

Barrio Gotico
De Barrio Gotico of de Gotische wijk is het hart van het oude centrum van Barcelona en één van de best bewaarde middeleeuwse wijken van Europa. Met verschillende Romijnse overblijfselen. Deze buurt bestaat uit een doolhof van kleine voetganger straatjes waar je uren kunt rond dwalen. Genoeg barretjes, café´s, restaurants en winkeltjes te bezoeken ook de bekende ´La catedral´ ( Gotische Katedraal) welke door de toeristen niet mag worden overgeslagen. Er is nog een andere Gotische kerk in deze buurt, de Santa Maria del Pi. Voor de kerk is het rustige en aantrekkelijke Plaza del Pi gelegen met verschillende restaurantjes en barretjes. Waar je heerlijk op het terras kunt zitten met de optredens van de straatartiesten aan je voeten.
De gebouwen van de regering van Cataluña en de gemeente van Barcelona staan op Plaza Jaume tegenover elkaar. Op loopafstand van de Gotische wijk vind je de Las Ramblas en het Liceu theather. Het gemeente huis op Plaza Jaume, de overblijfselen van de oude Romijnse muur en nog vele andere ontdekkingen laten het verleden van het oude Barcelona zien.
Plaza Reial is een bekende plaats, populair voor haar barretjes en restaurants waar je heerlijk op het terras kunt genieten (pas op voor tasjesdieven) Hier vind je ook het werk van een jonge Gaudi in opdracht van de gemeente, de Tres Gracies fontijn samen met de lantaans in het midden.
Ondanks dat de Gotische wijk niet zo ´cool´ als Born is of zo hip als Raval, is het zeker een bezoek waard.

Apartment war groß und geräumig, sehr zentral gelegen. Beim Check-in haben wir statt 2 Schlüssel, 3 Stück Schlüssel erhalten. Das empfohlene Car-Deluxe Service war hervorragend.

Location! The Da Vinci was in an excellent location, easy to walk to all the main sites and very close to the Metro to quickly get out of the city center. The house was also very spacious and fit our group of 9 very comfortably.

The apartment was really fantastic. It was such a great space for our group, had enough towels for all of us, and the two bathrooms were essential for 8 girls! The location was central, the terraces were lovely, and the decorations made it feel very comfortable and homey. We also had your office call a taxi for us for the morning we were leaving. We had to be out of the apartment by 6:15AM and it was extremely helpful that the taxis were arranged for us. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend friendly rentals.
