The Boutique Terrace apartment is situated in the heart of Barcelona's Eixample district, the birthplace of the Modernism movement where Antoni Gaudí is considered the leader. There are many "must see" attractions in this area, especially the Gaudí sites - the impressive and famous Sagrada Familia, which you can see from the terrace, the two famous Gaudí houses La Pedrera and Casa Batlló in the Manzana de la Discordia and the sprawling Hospital de la Santa Creu in Sant Pau - all within walking distance.

A modern and stylish apartment which is filled with an abundance of natural light and has a wonderful 23m2 terrace.
This open plan apartment on the 7th floor with elevator has been tastefully designed to create a very harmonious living space where you will be able to relax and enjoy any stay.
On entering the apartment you will find yourself in a fully fitted, modern kitchen with all the mod cons you might need and the nearby dining area has a dining table and chairs.
The modern and spacious bathroom has a large shower and is fully tiled in soothing blue tones.
The living area has a comfortable and large corner sofa, flat-screen TV and DVD for entertainment.
Leading from here, the bedroom comes with a double bed and ample wardrobe space for all of your belongings.
The terrace is accessed from the living area. You have another dining table here for al-fresco meals and some loungers for soaking up the mediterranean sun. An added bonus is the fabulous night view of the Torre Agbar with it's innovative lighting.

Eixample (right)
Barcelona´s 19de eeuws Eixample district is de geboorteplaats van de Modernistische beweging waarvan Antoni Gaudi als leider werd gezien. Deze wijk is koning wanneer het gaat om de 19de eeuwse architectuur van Barcelona te ervaren, met alle Gaudi bezienswaardigheden binnen handbereik, zoals het indrukwekkende Sagrada familia, de twee bekende Gaudi huizen, La Perdera en de Manzana de la Discordia.
In het mooie ziekenhuis de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, kun je uren rondkijken. Deze wijk is verdeeld in blokken en werd gecreeerd in de 19de eeuw om het overvolle oude Barcelona te ontzien. Gelukkig ging dit samen met de gouden eeuw van de architectuur. Gaudi, Puig I Cadafalch, Domènech I Montaner werden gecontacteerd door de rijken om huizen te bouwen de één nog gedurfder dan de ander…
Het district Eixample is verdeeld in Eixample Dreta (rechterkant) en Eixample Esquerra (linkerkant) deze verdeling wordt gemaakt door de hoogstaande winkelstraat Passeig de Gracia.
Het grootste gedeelte van Eixamples bezienswaardigheden zijn de winkels, restaurants en cafés. Alleen al op Passeig de Gracias is het mogelijk uren rond de dwalen . Ook in de zijstraten zijn vele winkels, theaters en cafés met overal mensen die aan het winkelen, relaxen of aan het genieten zijn van aperatiefjes samen met vrienden en familie.
EIXAMPLE DRETA (Rechts)
Deze wijk van Eixample was er als eerste en er zijn vele prachtige Modernistische werken te vinden, zoals het Gaudi´s, Casa Battló, Puig I Cadafalch’s Casa Amatller en Domènech i Muntaner`s Lleó Morera wat ook wel gerefereerd wordt als het Manzana de la Discordia…
Richting het oosten van de stad, vinden we een andere groot voorbeeld van Gaudi zijn creativiteit, de Sagrada Familia. Nog steeds zijn ze er mee bezig en dat zal ook nog wel even zo blijven. Het zit vol met symboliek en betekenissen. Deze geweldige basiliek stelt nooit een bezoeker teleur keer op keer worden ze verrast door haar schoonheid.
Een ander gebouw welke ook zeker genoemd mag worden is het Ziekenhuis Sant Pau, nog steeds in gebruik als ziekendhuis en is waarschijnlijk het meest complexe voorbeeld van de modernistiche architectuur.
De Eixample dreta is gevuld met musea zoals, Fundavió Antoni Tàpies, Museo Egipci de Barcelona en het Fundació Francisco Goddia.
Andere interessante gebouwen zijn het Palau Macaya, het betegelde Mercat de la Concepción, Placá de Braus monumental en Barcelona´s laatste actieve stierenarena.
