It's situated right by of one of Barcelona's most distingushed squares Plaza Real which is filled with bars and restaurants with outside seating where a cup of coffee goes down well while watching the quirky street performers which congregate to entertain the visitors most days. The area itself which surrounds the apartment is a body of pedestrianised interconnecting narrow cobble stoned streets where you can wander around aimlessly for hours imagining how it was back in medieval times. Other areas of interest within walking distance from the apartment are the famous Las Ramblas, the Liceu opera house, the Barcelona City Hall in Placa Jaume, which is 2 minutes walk from the apartment as well as the remains of the old Roman Walls coupled with many more treats from Barcelona's ancient and medieval past.
