The area itself which surrounds the apartment is a body of pedestrianised interconnecting narrow cobble stoned streets where you can wander around aimlessly for hours imagining how it was back in medieval times. Other areas of interest within walking distance from the apartment are the famous Las Ramblas, the Liceu opera house, the Barcelona City Hall on Plaça Jaume, which is one block from the apartment as well as the remains of the old Roman Walls coupled with many more treats from Barcelona's ancient and medieval past.
