The Colon apartment is located in a classic style apartment building and is a perfect choice for a vacation, especially in summer, as it is very close to the Zurriola beach a gathering point for all types but also for many surfers... this beach is one of the wider beaches San Sebastian has to offer, it has a bathers section and a surfers section...

One of the many bridges to be found in San Sebastian is the Kursal bridge, this connects the boulevard and the neighbourhood known as Gross, which is where this great apartment is located; the areas landmark is the Kursal Auditorium and Conference centre, designed by the architect Rafael Moneo. Here is where the visitor can stroll along the "Paseo de la Zurriola" which ends at the "Punta del Mompas".

Gross is a very central part of town, very close to the "parte vieja", and connected by one of the many bridges to be found in San Sebastian. In Gross you can find some really great pintxo bars, the more well-known ones are generally found in "la parte vieja" but in Gross there are many bars that are making fantastic pintxos, both new creations and the more traditional kind... it is quite a sight to behold when you walk in to these bars and see the counter covered in delicious pintxos, from one end to the other, quite an experience!!

Nearby the apartment there are several bus stops that can take you to any part of the city, however, as mentioned before, most of the city can be accessed by foot...

The Apartment;

The Colon apartment has been recently refurbished and the look is modern and elegant yet welcoming and full of charm... it has approx. 58m2 and the space has been utilized to it's full potential.. Hardwood floors throughout give the apartment, along with plenty of natural light, a feeling of warmth..

Although the building comes with an elevator, to access the aparmtent the visitor needs to climb one short flight of stairs... Once inside the visitor can enjoy this spacious loft-style apartment. The apartment is completely exterior facing and there are windows along the whole wall of the aparmtent to allow all that natural light to pour in...

The bedroom area has been seperated from the rest of the areas by japanese style blinds, a rather unique feature... As mentioned the decoration is modern, simple and elegant.

The living/dining area comes with a dining table and chairs and a comfortable area where there is a sofa, TV, DVD, for the use of the guest, to sit back and relax after a long day of sightseeing, pintxo eating, etc around San Sebastian...

The open plan kitchen is modern and comes equipped with mod cons to ensure the guest has everything to hand in order to prepare any meal they wish... it comes with washer, oven, microwave, blender, juicer, coffee maker, etc..

The bathroom is of course seperate from the rest of the apartment and is modern and full of colour, with lovely mosaic tile and comes with fresh towels ready for use upon arrival..
