Located near the Diagonal, this apartment offers the guest the best of both worlds; close enough to Plaza Cataluña and La Ramblas that the guest can amble their way down to enjoy such wonderful experiences as La Boqueria market, El Born or the Gothic Quarter, and as you walk out of the apartment buiding the guest can enjoy the huge shopping mecca Paseo de Gracia and all that la Diagonal has to offer...
The Apartment.
The Bulevard Attic I apartment is a lovely 2 bedroom apartment located on the top floor of a building with elevtor. The apartment is in one of the many beautifully preserved buildings with doorman that you still find on this elegant boulevard. It has been completely renovated to a high standard to ensure every comfort for guests.
The apartment comes with two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom comes with two single beds. Both of the bedrooms are at the back of the building which is extremely quiet and both have direct access to one of the great terraces.
The bathroom comes complete with bath/shower, toilet, bidet and washbasin. Fresh towels are provided for your use on arrival.
The living/dining area, which is flooded with sunlight from the french windows giving direct access to the other great terrace, has a comfortable sofa which converts into a double bed if required. There is also a TV and DVD for an evening in. The dining table has 6 chairs, but during the long summer months there is another table and chairs on the terrace for eating al fresco or for simply enjoying a nice bottle of local wine with some Spanish tapas.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the mod cons necessary to make your trip a stress free one-microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine, etc...
Whether you are in Barcelona for business or on holiday, the Bulevard apartment will make the perfect base.

Plaza Cataluña
Piazza Catalunya è la piazza più grande di Barcellona, che con i suoi 30.000 metri quadrati di superficie, risulta essere la terza più grande di Spagna. Molte delle vie più importanti della città convergono con questa magnifica piazza, famosa per le sue fontane e le sue statue.
Fino alla metà del XIX secolo, la Plaça de Catalunya altro non era che una zona rurale al di fuori delle mura della città. Solo nel 1858 l’area divenne d’interesse politico, quando il governo centrale di Madrid ordinò la demolizione delle mura che proteggevano Barcellona, indicendo un concorso pubblico per la progettazione di un nuovo quartiere. Il primo premio fu dato al progetto di Rovira i Trias, ma il governo finì per scegliere una proposta più moderna, quella dell’urbanista Ildefonso Cerdà. Infine, il governo centrale ed il governo locale decisero di aggiungere all’idea originale, un nuovo piano urbano, progettato dall'architetto Puig i Cadafalch (autore del palazzo modernista "Casa de les Punxes") al quale si deve l’aspetto odierno della piazza, creata tra il 1925 ed il 1927.
Piazza Catalunya è un importante punto nevralgico di Barcellona, sede delle principali reti di trasporto urbano, come la metropolitana, i treni, gli autobus, il bicing ed i taxi. Gli autobus che collegano l'aeroporto ed il Bus turistico fanno capolinea in Piazza Catalunya, proprio di fronte al famoso centro commerciale El Corte Inglés.
Passeo de Gracia
È una delle vie più famose della città, che da Piazza Catalunya si estende per oltre 1,5 km, ospitando i negozi e le boutique di moda delle più prestigiose marche internazionali.
Las Ramblas, il Barrio Gotico ed il Borne si trovano a pochi minuti di distanza.
Chi soggiorna in questa zona potrà recarsi al meraviglioso mercato alimentare della Boqueria, passeggiare fra le suggestive strade del Casco Antico, ammirare le lussuose vetrine di Paseo de Gracia, e visitare gli straordinari edifici di Gaudí, come la Casa Batlló e La Pedrera, entrambi dichiarati Patrimonio dell'Umanità dall'UNESCO.
Passeig de Gràcia si può considerare la versione catalana degli Champs Elysées di Parigi, una zona prestigiosa ed elegante che racchiude l’energia frizzante di Barcellona.
Il primo progetto urbanistico che diede vita a questo incredibile viale fu avviato nel 1821, ad opera del famoso architetto Ramon Plana.
