Indubbiamente é la strada piú cosmopolita di Barcellona, con la sua grande diversitá di gente, passanti, turisti, commedianti, giocolieri, muscisti che regalano alla strada una grandiosa vitalitá, soprattutto notturna. Quest’area é assolutamente da visitare, nonostante possa a volte sembrare un po’ claustrofobica data la quantitá di gente che la percorre (é d’obbligo avvertire i turisti che questa é una delle aree preferite dai ladruncoli, quindi attenti con potafogli e borse…!); non puó mancare la visita al mercato La Boqueria, situato a metá delle Ramblas, dove potrete incontrare frutta, verdure, pesce, carne e prodotti tipici deliziosi… Sul lato sinistro, scendendo da Plaza Catalunya, troverete, in Calle Portaferrisa, la fontana; decorata con colorate pisastrelle che disegnano la vecchia porta d’entrata della cittá..Portaferrisa significa infatti porta di ferro. Un’altra grande attrazione della Rambla é il Teatro Liceu, uno dei piú famosi teatri lirici d’Europa. Le numerose terrazzo dei bar, i negozi di souvenir e tutti I negozi nell’insieme fanno della Rambla un luogo unico e pieno di esperienze da vivere....

We loved the location and the fact that the apartment was double paned, AND THAT THERE WAS AIR-CONDITION! The internet worked...always. It always smelled very fresh and clean when we walked in, even after cooking. We were so close to the metro and bus service and many tourist sites...it was fabulous...would stay there again. We loved the location and the fact that the apartment was double paned, AND THAT THERE WAS AIR-CONDITION! The internet worked...always. It always smelled very fresh and clean when we walked in, even after cooking. We were so close to the metro and bus service and many tourist sites...it was fabulous...would stay there again.

The apartment was perfect for first time visitors to Barcelona. Most of the sights are within walking distance. Easy to access open air and super markets make help to make great use of the kitchen. Amazing balcony views of Las Ramblas, perfect for people watching while enjoying coffee. Windows all around make for awesome lighting. Can't wait to go back! Alma, United States lunedì 26 luglio 2010
