L’appartement Elgar est construit sur le bien préservé ancien mur arabe qui entoure la ville historique de Valence.
Ce confortable appartement bien conçu est baigné de lumière naturelle toute la journée. Il est un choix idéal pour un couple qui veut être au coeur de Valence avec un accès facile à la plage.
Le quartier:
L'appartement est très bien situé au coeur du centre historique, El Carmen, près de toutes les principales attractions de Valence. Les plus importants points d'intérêt se trouvent à quelques minutes à pied.
Après traverser l'ancienne rivière Turia, vous pouvez facilement prendre le tram à la plage. Avec juste un court trajet en taxi ou à pied, vous pouvez aussi visiter la futuriste Cité des Arts et des Sciences.
La propriété Elgar, au coeur du vieux Valence, est entourée de nombreux restaurants et bars.
L’appartement:
Le nouveau et rénové appartement Elgar est situé dans un bâtiment traditionnel de Valence. Il est élégant, chic, simple et fonctionnel. L'appartement est situé au premier étage avec un ascenseur.
À l'entrée du bâtiment vous pouvez voir la vieille partie d'un mur arabe. Au premier étage, vous entrerez dans l'appartement, vous trouverez le salon / salle à manger avec une cuisine de style américain sur votre droite.
Au salon il y a un divan lit double disponible pour les enfants ou les invités supplémentaires. Le salon est baigné de lumière avec les trois grandes fenêtres. La salle a une belle table où vous porrez manger les repas préparés à la cuisine entièrement équipée. La cuisine est ouverte sur le salon et a tous les appareils modernes et les outils nécessaires.
À gauche de l'entrée se trouve la chambre à coucher, qui est équipée d'un lit double et une grande armoire pour tous vos biens. Cette salle de repos a de hauts plafonds, est très spacieuse, et est un endroit parfait pour se détendre après une journée à explorer les merveilles de Valence. Elle est équipée d'air conditionné.
Il y a une salle de bain avec baignoire et douche.
Avec l'appartement Elgar un couple sera parfaitement situé au centre historique de Valence avec un accès facile à la plage.

Ciutat Vella/El Carmen
The historical centre of Valencia is comprised of El Carmen and the commercial city centre - Ciudad Vella.
Among the most important monuments are Plaza Redonda, Torres de quart, Portal de Valldigna and the Iglesia Del Carmen. One of the main features of El Carmen are the holes in the massive towers of the Torres De Quart from the cannonballs used in the time of Napoleon. The ancient winding streets of the Barrio del Carmen contain buildings dating back to Roman and Arabic times. The Cathedral, built between the 13th and 15th century, is primarily of Gothic style, but contains elements of Baroque and Romanesque architecture. Beside the Cathedral is the Gothic Basilica of the Virgin (Basílica De La Virgen De Los Desamparados). The 15th century Serrano and Quart towers are part of what was once the wall surrounding the city.
UNESCO has recognized the Late Gothic silk exchange (La Lonja de la Seda) as a World Heritage Site. The modernist Central Market (Mercado Central) is one of the largest in Europe. The main railway station, Estación Del Norte, is built in art deco style.
The area is full of young people and lively bars. This lifestyle in contrast to the backdrop of old stone buildings and hidden courtyards, huge wooden doors with high door-knockers (to be reached from horseback) gives the Carmen a unique charm.
In the city centre, to the south of the Carmen, you will find all the international high street shops and most well known brand names. The largest square is the Plaça de l'Ajuntament, which contains the town hall (ajuntament), a cinema that shows classic movies (La Filmoteca), and many restaurants and bars.You cannot miss the majestic post office with paintings on the ceiling.

location,cleanliness,plenty of resources e.g. cleaning materials,foodstuffs e.g. balsamic,olive oil,coffee, a welcoming bottle of cava. There were books about the city,yellow pages which also helped us plan our stay and make reservations for places. And a peasant welcome from the agent.

Location of the apartment is perfect for exploring Valencia, as well as for enjoying it. The local cafes and restaurants offer great variety of foods and very welcoming service. The house is in shades and protects from the heat. Our mornings started with a freshly baked bread and pastries from the downstairs bakery. The river park is right next to the house, the cathedral and its squares - 5 min walk away.
