The Area Surrounding the Apartment
Palma Old Town is a trendy maze full of restaurants, bars and shops. The Debussy apartment is located near the famous La Lonja, the old fishmarket that nowadays serves as one of Palma's landmarks together with the Cathedral and the King's castle.
Around the apartment you can choose from gourmet restaurants and traditional Spanish tapas bars, there is something for everyone around here! Also nearby is the famous Abaco cocktail bar, not to be missed. The Passeig des Born takes you through shops and bars and leads up towards Plaça Mayor which serves as Palma centre. In the other direction, Passeig des Born leads down to the sea and the marina. Head out along the seafront until you hit the city beaches for some relaxing tanning.
You really could not be in a more ideal position than in the Debussy apartment to explore Palma, Mallorca's beautiful capital. You are steps away from Plaça de la Lonja as well as the Paseo Marítimo with all the trendy nightclubs and the Club Naútico. There are art galleries located nearby on C/San Feliú and Forn de la Gloria.
The Apartment
The Debussy apartment and the house in which it is located have recently undergone a total reform, while maintaining its Mallorcan charm. It comes with full air conditioning, heating, and all modern appliances. There is a private roof terrace, 30m2, with dining facilities for 6, and amazing views over the marina encompassing the famous cathedral La Seu.
As you enter the apartment, you find the bedroom to the left. There is a walk in wardrobe with plenty of room for all your belongings. The en-suite bathroom is very exclusive with a roof window that allows you to have a shower in the sun all year round. High quality bed linen and towels are included.
To the right you have first the kitchen with a dining area. The kitchen features a gas cooker, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer machine, kettle, juicer and all utensils you might need should you opt for a quiet dinner at home in the apartment or why not on the terrace. Further in there is a bright living room area with flat screen satellite TV and DVD.
The roof terrace is a gem that will make your holiday just that extra bit more comfortable. If you do not want to join the crowds at the beach or in town you can simply sit up here and enjoy the sights and the sun. There is plenty of space up here and you will be absolutely private.
