Some of the larger and better known "avenidas" are found not far from the location of this apartment, such as Calle Alcalá, Goya, O'Donnell or Menendez; all considered major streets where all kinds of public amenities can be found.... shops, bars, cafes, cinemas, art galleris and so on....

A major plus is the short distance from the apartment to the Retiro Park; the well known park that was originally created for the royal family in 1931 and that today can be enjoyed by locals as well as visitors to the city as it is now a public park and is considered to be the heart of the city with all sorts of flora, little "palacetes" and wooded areas.. this is an absolute must on a list of "things to see and do" while in Madrid...

The Apartment;

The Retiro IV is a modern and spacious two bedroom apartment that has been tastefully refurbished to the highest of standards; the building where the Retiro IV apartment is located, along with it's sister apartments Retiro II and III, it also comes with a lift and wheelchair access..

With both bedrooms containing a double bed and a sofa bed to be found in the living room, the Retiro apartment has a maximum capacity of 6 people..... decorated in a very "new york" style, this apartment is perfect for both the short or perhaps longer visits to Madrid...

As the guests walks in to the apartment they will be pleasantly surprised by the modern and stylish decor; especially the unusual touch in the hallway where they have combined circular mirrors and rugs....

Both bedrooms contain one double bed and are simply and elegantly decorated, while one is more sombre in colour the second one is full of colour but both are equally tasteful...each room comes with wardrobe space for all the guests belongings... the look is modern and welcoming...

Down the hallway to the left we find the bathroom, which is decorated in an original and fun way... it comes with shower, sink, toilet, etc....

The kitchen is one area with the living/dining area and the space has been fully utilized to create a pleasant and charming area where the guests can sit back and relax or enjoy cooking and eating a meal without feeling isolated from the rest of the group..... the living area comes with two sofas, one of which is a sofe bed for the 5th and 6th guests.. the guests can also avail of the TV and DVD while taking it easy after a hard day out and about or before heading out to see what Madrid has to offer at nighttime....


Public transport; couldn't be better!! the guests has access to all the main bus routes from Calle Alcalá or Calle O'Donnell which can be reached in about a 2 mins walk, at a 5 mins walk the guest will find the Goya metro stop....
