The apartment has a great location- from which you can reach the most centric stations such as Sol, Gran Vía and Callao. Ideal for those who want to be near of the heart of the city but without living in the middle of the busy metropolis.

A three blocks walk is enough to reach Madrid´s great green spot, the famous Retiro Park, main leisure, natural and sports centre. Once outside the park, the most well known museums appear. The Reina Sofía, Prado and Thyssen Bornemisza museums give a great variety of cultural offer.

The Apartment;

The Vasconselos Apartment is an original gem, full of character, charm and an enchanting sense of tranquility.
It´s hard to pin point one particular style in this curiously interesting apartment, with a mix of artistic styles from pop-art to surrealism, original sculptures and artifacts from around the world that enhance the space.
On entering there is a sitting room with sofa, glass coffee table, shelving and other furnishings. From here, you have the hallway accessing the main bedroom with en-suite and single bedroom. There is also the entry to the second section of the apartment which incorporates the dining room, main bathroom, kitchen, 3rd and loft bedrooms plus the lounge room.
The main bedroom with Japanese style artworks has a double bed, vast amounts of cupboard space and a bright white tiled en-suite to give guests a little extra space and privacy. The spacious second bedroom is bright and vibrant with a funky black and white roof design, side table and lamp and also has built-in cupboards.
Moving through to the living and dining area of the apartment you have the main bathroom which has its original grey and pink tiling design has both bath and shower, along with a great artwork by the famous pop-artist Warhol decorating the wall.
The kitchen, also off the dining room, is situated perfectly for entertaining with an entrance opening out into the dining area with a dining setting for 6 people. There is a washing machine, oven, stove and every necessary cooking essential to make every guest feel at home.
A 3rd bedroom is accessed from the dining room but also looks down onto the lounge room. There are vast amounts of lighting in this room with two single beds together, large windows and numerous artworks. For a little privacy a venetian blind can be pulled down to separate the bedroom from the lounge area.
The final sleeping space is loft-style and connected from the lounge room by a wall ladder. There is a futon bed and lamp, plus venetian blind to allow some seclusion. The lounge room is the perfect place to relax on the futon style sofa, soft red suede arm chair and watch TV or read a book.
