Great localization. Close to city center, various Bairro Alto taverns and bars. Also close to the famous Lisbon's 28 tram stop. Very nice, modern apartment - vast, in modernized 17th century palace, with friendly, helpful concierges. Important detail - an umbrella in the wardrobe available for use.
Very noisy - cars and trams just outside the window. Due to the noise it is almost impossible to get a proper night sleep. If one wants to get the noise down a bit, one has to close all the windows, but then it becomes airless and very hot as there is no air-conditioning in the apartment. There is an additional payment required for the internet, but still internet is "per hour", instead of unlimited access. No electric kettle, it takes ages to boil water for tea; broken iron - makes water splashes.
