The location of this apartment could not be better, located only 30m or so from the famous La Rambla the guest simply has to step out of the building to enjoy all this great city has to offer...
All the must see landmarks are within easy walking distance, Plaza Cataluña, the amazing Gothic Cathedreal, the Gothic Quarter and the very trendy el Born to name but a few...
Just off of Plaza Cataluña the grandiose Paseo de Gracia, home to some of Gaudi's most famous works as well as plenty of amazing stores to keep any guest enterntained; from here the visitor can wander around the area known as Eixample, with plenty of local stores, cafes, bars and restaurants this area is home to some great night life.... one block over from Paseo de Gracia the equally wonderful Rambla Cataluña, another delightful area to explore in the centre of Barcelona, with lots of stores and cafes, the visitor can enjoy the pedestrian centre that runs all the way down the centre...

This great studio apartment is one of sixteen units in this building; the photographs above are a selection of the variuos units. Although the apartments may vary slightly in decor, the characteristics are the same....
Each studio apartment comprises of a living, sleeping and kitchen area and a bathroom which is seperate from the rest of the area...
The sleeping area in this apartment contains a double bed which can be made into two single beds on request... the bathroom comes with a shower unit, WC, sink, etc and fresh towels ready for use upon arrival...
The living area, which is dominated by the sofa, can be used to chill out and relax after a hard day of sightseeing or shopping; the sofa also doubles as a sofa bed for the 3rd adn 4th guests....
These apartments all come with ADSL internet connection, AC and heating to ensure the guests' comfort....
The kitchen of the apartment is open style of course and is equipped with most appliances so the guest staying at this great apartment can prepare meals should they so wish to...
The studio apartments in this building do not come with individual washer and dryer, however, they will find these facilities in the basement. Upon arrvial they will be given a coupon so they can avail of this service, and more can be purchased if necessary; an iron and ironing board are also available upon request..
Some of the units in this building are exterior facing while others are interior, however, they all come with a small balcony; although these apartments are non-smoking, if the guest should wish to they can use the balcony as a smoking area.....

Las Ramblas
Assurément la rue la plus cosmopolite de Barcelone qui rassembler la plus grande diversité de personnes : des passants, acheteurs, touristes, fonctionnaires, comédiens de rue, musiciens, et une vie nocturne très intéressante.
N'importe quel visiteur à Barcelone se doit de se rendre sur la Rambla. Bien qu'elle puisse rendre légèrement claustrophobe à cause de sa popularité elle devrait certainement être visitée au moins une fois (il est sage de mentionner que les voleurs à la tire sont communs dans ce secteur, faire très attention aux sacs à main, aux poches et aux bourses !...). Le merveilleux et très célèbre marché de la Boqueria se trouve à mi-chemin du côté droit en descendant la Rambla…Dans ce cadre fantastique, on imagine tous les locaux et les touristes recherchant de même toutes sortes de produits, fromage, jambon, olives, fruits de mer, poisson…
Du côté gauche, au coin de la Calle Portaferissa se trouve la fontaine ; les tuiles décolorées par la fontaine représentent l´endroit où était le vieux passage pour entrer dans la ville, Portaferissa signifie littéralement « porte de fer » .....
Le Gran Teatre del Liceu (le grand théâtre de Liceu) est un autre point d´intérêt sur la Rambla, une des principales scènes d´opéra lyrique en Europe.
Les nombreuses terrasses, les magasins de souvenir, les échoppes et les orchestres font de La Rambla une expérience unique et, à ce jour, la Rambla reste l'une des attractions principales de Barcelone…
