The apartment was located in a historic building. The location was 100% perfect. Just around the corner of everything. Shopping, restaurants etc. My friends who live in the same street in Florence said its one of the most sought after locations in Florence!! The restaurants there were being visited by predominantly local people, which is always a good sign. The quality of the food was great. The apartment was fitted in a stylish way, everything was new or well-groomed. Many books of Florence were to be found in the shelves. Cooking books decorated in the kitchen and dinnerware for for a big family. Same with pots and pans (though I recommend to go out and try out the restaurants). Sufficient number of towels and so on. To put it in a nutshell, we felt like being at home from the first minute!
