*The website is accurate and reservations are easy to make. *The staff at FriendlyRentals is professional and accessible. We experienced a situation that required their immediate attention and they resolved our problem and responded to our needs with better than expected service, and fast too!. GREAT JOB to all of you!!! *The photos in the website are accurate. This is a regular full-size one-bedroom apartment, not a studio, not small. The place has an urban IKEA decor that compliments the cleanliness of the place. The furniture and decor are very handsome. The floors and walls were clean. The bathroom was new and up to date. The kitchen was contemporary. *Bed is firm and not lumpy. Linens are quality. *The apartment has a great floor plan with cross-air ventilation. We stopped using the air conditioner once we realized that we could leave the bathroom and kitchen windows open to create a cross breeze from the balcony windows. It's on the 3rd floor (4th floor for USA) so we felt safe enough doing that. *Everything you need is there: dishes, towels (big fabulous fluffy rich thick towels!!), laundry and drier, everything. (USA guests: read the manual for the laundry machine - it's not like our machines back home.) *There are no food staples provided. Be prepared to bring some fastfood packets of salt and pepper, and sugar packets. Buy olive oil and balsamic vinegar at close by markets. Supermarket (Merconde???) is just two blocks close. The "99 cent store" for Chinese imports is 1 block away. You can pick up anything you need at these two stores. You save a lot of money by eating at home. We ate a healthy breakfast and snack-sized dinner in the apartment, and spent our food money eating lunch out in town. *Best part! Waking up in the morning with the sunlight filtered through green leafy trees. The floor to ceiling balcony windows have thick plantation shutters. We left the glass window-doors open all night long, with the shutter doors closed, but shutters open. Nice and breezy. The apartment is level with the leafy part of the trees, so it's very private. Maybe in winter, the trees are barren. I think they were Liquid Amber or Sycamore trees. *There is a metro connection "Rockafort" on the corner and a "locutorio" internet cafe nearby (to the right on the next block). The neighborhood seems decent, safe and clean. Plenty of little cafes with sidewalk seating. A constant stream of taxis pass 7/24. The hop on/hop off bus has a point just 4 blocks away and is a great way to be introduced to the city. *We stayed here 9 days, but the apartment is perfect for a much longer stay. Perfectly equiped, decorated and situated.
