Este precioso apartamento se encuentra a pocos pasos de Paseo de Gracia, una de las principales avenidas de Barcelona que une la Plaza de Cataluña con la Avenida Diagonal.
Desde este apartamento en 3 minutos el visitante se encontrará en Plaza Cataluña, el lugar desde dónde se inician las conocidas Ramblas que bajan hasta el mar y en las cuales el visitante encontrará el Mercado de la Boquería, el Mercado de las Flores y un a multitud de artistas callejeros.
También a pocos minutos el visitante se encontrará en el Gótico y el Born. Este último es uno de los barrios más de moda en el distrito antiguo de Barcelona. Se trata de un barrio medieval con callejuelas laberínticas, pequeñas plazoletas, bellos recovecos llenos de encanto dónde el visitante encontrará bares, restaurantes y boutiques. Este barrio fue hasta hace 150 años limítrofe con la muralla medieval y parte de la antigua ciudad de Barcelona.
¡El visitante no deberá desplazarse mucho para encontrar todo lo que pueda necesitar durante su estancia en Barcelona y podrá disfrutar de la ciudad al máximo!
El apartamento:
Este apartamento es una delicia. Cuando se entra al apartamento se tiene inmediatamente una sensación de espacio y luz. El salón esta diseñado con un estilo moderno, con un cómodo sofá esquinero dónde descansar y relajarse viendo la televisión o un DVD o tomando una copa de buen vino español. El espacio esta inmerso en luz proveniente de la terraza de 40m2, desde la que se tienen hermosas vistas de la ciudad, incluida la Sagrada Familia, la Torre Agbar y el mar.
Desde el salón podrá acceder a la cocina completamente equipada con todos los electrodomésticos como cafetera, exprimidora, tostadora, lavadora, etc. para que disponga de toda las comodidades de la vida moderna.
El apartamento tiene 3 dormitorios. El dormitorio principal tiene grandes ventanales con acceso directo a la terraza. Dispone de una cama de matrimonio y un gran armario dónde podrá guardar todas sus pertenencias. También cuenta con una televisión de pantalla plana y un baño en-suite. El Segundo dormitorio cuenta con una cama doble y un armario mientras que el tercer dormitorio cuenta con una cama individual y una mesa de trabajo muy útil si usted se encuentra en Barcelona por negocios.
El segundo baño cuenta con ducha, lavabo y lavamanos. En ambos baños usted encontrará toallas limpias a su llegada.
El apartamento cuenta con aire acondicionado y calefacción para que este a gusto independientemente de cuál es el periodo del año en que usted venga. El apartamento también tiene conexión inalámbrica de internet.
La edad mínima requerida para alojarse en este apartamento es de 30 años.
No se permiten grupos de 5 personas compuestos exclusivamente por hombres o exclusivamente por mujeres.

Plaza Cataluña/Paseo de Gracia
Plaza Cataluña
Es la plaza más grande de Barcelona, con 30.000 metros cuadrados es la tercera plaza más grande de España. Muchas de las avenidas más importantes conectan con esta importante plaza, famosa por su fuente y sus estatuas. Hasta practicamente mediados del siglo XIX la Plaça de Catalunya era solo una zona rural situada en las afueras de los muros la ciudad.
Fue solo en 1858 que el gobierno central de Madrid ordenó derribar los muros que protegían a Barcelona, aprobando al mismo tiempo la construcción fuera de esta área, fué entonces cuando se organizó un concurso público con la idea de diseñar un nuevo distrito. El primer premio fue otorgado al diseño de Rovira I Trias pero el gobierno terminó por elegir un diseño mucho más moderno , un plano cuadriculado diseñado por Ildefons Cerdá.
Finalmente, el gobierno central y el gobierno local local acordaron añadir un nuevo plano,un diseño del arquitecto Puig i Cadafalch (autor del edificio modernista "Casa de les Punxes") que dió lugar a la actual majestuosa plaza, creada entre 1925 y 1927.
Actualmente es también un importante punto de interconexión, desde donde son accesibles las más importantes redes de transporte como Metro, buses, taxis, etc. Los buses que llevan al aeropuerto y tambien los buses turísticos tienen su parada principal en Plaza Catalunya, justamente en frente del famoso almacén El Corte Inglés.
Passeo de Gracia
Siendo una de las avenidas más famosas de la ciudad, con un trayecto de 1.5 kilómetros a Plaza Catalunya y Las Ramblas, Paseo de Gracia es la avenida que tiene más tiendas de diseñadores famosos por metro cuadrado en toda Barcelona. Desde aquí , otras zonas de interés como el Barrio Gótico y el tan de moda Borne quedan a tan solo pocos minutos.
Quienes se alojen en esta área se encontrarán la excelente comida del Mercado de La Boqueria en las Ramblas, una cita ineludible para cualquier visitante de Barcelona y podrá pasear hasta Passeig de Gracia con sus tiendas de diseño , donde podrá disfrutas de algunos de los edificios más emblemáticos de Gaudí como la Casa Batlló y La Pedrera, que han sido catalogados como edificios Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la Unesco. Esta famosa avenida es la más parecida a Les Champs Elysés en Paris , ésta es es la Capital vibrante de Cataluña. El primer proyecto urbanístico que dió vida a esta increíble avenida fué iniciado en 1821 por el famoso arquitecto Ramón Plana.
Toda una experiencia de shopping le espera a los visitantes de esta zona. Paseo de Gracia le mantendrá ocupado por horas.

Everything in the apartment was great! But mostly, I liked the terrace and the view. The location of the building was also great. Besides, the very friendly and nice welcome we found when we reached made us even feel more relaxed and comfortable. L'appartement est clair et moderne (conforme aux photos). Il a une très jolie vue sur la Sagrada Familia au loin ainsi que la Torre Agbar (illuminée le soir). Il est idéalement placé pour visiter Barcelone à pied (les Ramblas, la cathédrale, le musée de la musique) ou bien en métro (station au pied de l'immeuble et proximité immédiate de la place de Catalogne, véritable noeud de communication). L'internet fonctionne parfaitement. La literie est de qualité.

Location. It was a fabulous location. Close to everything! Metro, cafe's, El Borne, Gothic area, shopping, it had it all in easy walking distance. It also had a beautiful terrace, with great views and a comfortable layout. Marcel was punctual for check in and check out and very helpful with information. Emails with Friendly Rentals were returned promptly.

L'emplacement privilégié de l'appartement, tout est portée de marche, la tranquilité des lieux, la présence de trois chambres, les deux salles de bains, l'accueil de Fabio et Marcel, la terrasse, les équipements propres et modernes, le WiFi, l'ascenseur et de nombreux autres avantages. L'offre faite par Marcel de réduction de 10 % des fais à cause des travaux voisins à l'appartement a aussi été appréciée, bien que le bruit ne nous ait pas beaucoup dérangé.

La ubicación es inmejorable, cerca de las mejores zonas de Barcelona (Paseo de Gracia, el Barrio Gótico, Las Ramblas, Plaza Cataluña). Todo lo necesario está cerca (metro, supermercados, restaurantes. El Edificio buenisimo, impecable, los ascensores grandes y muy buena la atención de la sra encargada. Y lo mejor de todo? ... el apartamento, simplemente espectacular!!!! nos sentimos como en casa. La lencería de primera, el equipamiento perfecto, la decoración agradable, la terraza la disfrutamos aún siendo invierno, las plantas naturales le daban vida a todo, la vista divina y el lavandero muy útil. En fin, un sitio para disfrutar!!!

The balcony was AMAZING! Our greeter, Fabio was delightful. We were met at the specific pre-arranged time and departed at 7 am with prompt & kind service as well. We stayed in the apartment in late May 2010 and had a great time. The host made it extremely easy to check in and the apartment itself is amazing. The photos do not do the apartment justice. The balcony has great views and the living spaces are extremely well furnished. We were 4 adults sharing the apartment and it never felt cramped. The location is also fantastic. It is less than a 1/2 block to the subway and cabs were extremely easy to catch just outside the front door. The apartment made us wish we had more than 4 nights for Barcelona - it was very hard to leave.

Location was great, ideal base for exploring the city. It is very central and in a safe area. The other main reason i booked this was for the terrace which we enjoyed using. I stayed at the Mahler Attic Apartment in Barcelona in January of 2010 with my aunt, uncle and adult friend. We were promptly greeted by Marcel who gave us a tour and helpful hints about the apartment. Pedro the doorman is very helpful and a truly delightful person, he made our stay quite welcoming. We also met a nice elderly lady named Conchita who lives on the first floor who told us to see her if we needed anything! As the apartment is a three bedroom two bath unit, the accommodations were perfect. The elevator was a must as there were elderly people in our group. Additionally, the location could not be better as it is in a safe neighborhood within walking distance to most sights. The metro stop is just a few steps away from the front door and taxis came by frequently, so transportation was easy. The apartment is a delight to be in, it is well furnished and it comes with everything you might need to make your stay comfortable. There is a nice diner right next to the building and several grocery stores nearby. We cooked our own meals many times, used the clothes washer and the enjoyed the outdoor patio. It was so much nicer and more welcoming than any hotel stay. The keys are somewhat tricky. We struggled to remove the building key from the front door, but learned from another resident that the key has to be flat to remove it. Also, the apartment door you must turn the key to the left and pull the door slightly to get it to open. Once we figured this out, it was smooth! Check out with Marcel was easy and Pedro even told us we were "exceptional people" and gave us a parting gift of some Cava. I would rent this apartment again if I should ever return to Barcelona! We loved the Mahler apartment.Especially the location which was very central..... and the roof terrace which was not only attractive with all the plants and flowers but was ideal in the early morning and in the evening. The apartment was clean, nicely decorated and well furnished and Marcel was extremely helpful and charming. We would definately stay here again and recommend this apartment to our friends. The staff at Friendly Rentals were not only helpful and service minded but also spoke exellent english. Thank you once again for making our trip so memorable and Barcelona is a wonderful city so I hope we will be able to visit again in the future.

The apartment was in close proximity to all the main areas of Barcelona, and close to all transport systems.
