Located in the area which is often considered to be the most ancient and historic part of the city, the Vittoria I apartment completely meets the needs of a group or a family in Venice wishing to discover the most authentic side of the city's soul without sacrificing the enjoyment or comfort of a modern and dynamic accommodation.
The apartment:
The Vittoria I apartment is located on the 2nd floor, without elevator access (approximately 38 steps), of a building in the San Polo neighbourhood, steps away from Rialto's fish and fruit market. Featuring a clean style and natural materials, the rooms have been entirely refurbished with elegant finishings, including charming exposed beam ceilings enriched with splendid Byzantine-style windows. The furnishings are modern, and the rooms’ dominating colour is white, in different shades and tones, making them feel even more airy and lofty.
The living-room is harmonious in style, with a comfortable white sofa which turns into a double bed (for the 5th and 6th guests), a dining table with chairs, a TV and an Ottoman. In the sleeping area there are two bedrooms (one has a double bed and the other has two single beds), each has a soothing atmosphere and is furnished in a muted and functional style. The independent kitchen corner is fully equipped, while the two bathrooms are modern and elegant and one is fitted with shower.

San Polo
This is the smallest district of Venice but also one of the most lively and picturesque. Through its characteristic narrow streets full of shops and taverns you will experience the atmosphere of ancient times. San Polo district is a mixed-bag “sestiere” of residential corners and tourist sights and it stretches northwest of the Rialto Bridge to the principal church of “Santa Maria dei Frari” and the “Scuola di San Rocco”. It overlooks the Grand Canal. The most important area is Rialto, once the economic centre of the Venetian Republic. Despite being the smallest in size, this part of the city is populated by many Venetians and is one of the most attractive. Traditional taste is here widespread and respected all along the route leading to Rialto, with restaurants, osterie and “bacari”, serving appetizers (“cicheti”) and good wine(“ombre”). Unmissable the Rialto market that has taken place here for centuries with Erbarìa (the fruit and vegetable market), Pescarìa (the fish market) and Beccarìa (the butcher’s area). The spacious “Campo San Polo” is the main “campo” of Venice with the San Paolo Apostolo Church hosting important paintings by Veronese , Jacopo Palma il Giovane, Tintoretto and Tiepolo. San Cassiano Church, Carlo Goldoni’s House and the Franciscan Basilica of the Frari with Titian’s paintings surely deserve a stop.
