This lovely 4 bedroom apartment is located in the Ruzafa district near the Council Hall. It is tastefully decorated with a clean and modern look which will ensure that your stay in Valencia will be a relaxing one.

The area surrounding the apartment;

The Maris apartment is situated in the heart of Valencia's 19th century Ruzafa district. When looking to experience Valencia's 19th century architecture, this is a good area. It is also located very near to the historical part of the city with all the main landmarks.

The apartment is within easy walking distance to everything. The council Hall is the main centre of the city, a starting point to the Old Town and near to the Cathedral, the Market, museums, and so on... From here you can also catch numerous bus and train connections wherever you might want to go!

The apartment;

The Maris apartment itself is ideal for a family or goup of friends looking to rest far away from the madness of the busy Old Town district. It is a very stylish and cosy apartment with a very modern look to it and comes fully equipped to ensure that your stay is a hassle free one.

Upon entering there is a large and colourful, designer living/dining room which contains some really lovely details. The modern open-plan kitchen adjoins this area, as can be seen in the photos.

Next comes the first full bathroom, with a large glass-partition shower. On this level there are 3 bedrooms: the first has a Tin-Tin memorabilia theme, and two single beds, the second also has two single beds, while the third is an en-suite master bedroom, with a double bed and with access to a balcony.

At the top of the staircase there is a large and modern private terrace, as well as a reading corner, and a fourth bedroom which has been furnished with two single beds and has an en-suite bathroom.

Bed linen, towels and bathroom paper are all provided.

Ruzafa

Ruzafa

Ruzafa was until 1877 an independent village. Nowadays it is one of the most historical neighbourhoods in Valencia, located between the central station “Estación del Norte”, the Grandes Vías (Marques del Turía and Germanías) and the Avenida Peris y Valero. Ruzafa has Arabic roots and is named after an Arabic garden. In the past it was known as “la Terra del ganxo” – Land of hooks. This was because most of the inhabitants worked by the river collecting tree trunks that came down from Los Serranos and for this they used hooks and so it became known as the ‘land of hooks’.

“La Iglesia Parroquial de San Valero y San Vicente Mártir”, also known as the “Cathedral of Ruzafa” was built in 1415.

The Mercado Municipal de Ruzafa was built in 1954 and is one of the most characteristic monuments in Ruzafa. 

Ruzafa is a very vibrant area and the streets are always buzzing with life, making it an interesting place to visit day or night. Ruzafa is very centrally located and many Valencian people already consider it as the city centre. It has experienced, like El Carmen, a major rebirth to become a very “cool” and chic area with many bars, restaurants and pubs.
