Functional and affordable apartment perfectly well located opposite the Puente de las Artes, the IVAM (Modern Art Museum) and the old Turia River bed. Less than five minutes from the city's historic center where the most important monuments and buildings of the historic and modern city of Valencia are to be found.

The apartment offers guests a large, garden-like, refreshing terrace covered with artificial grass and lined with tropical plants.

The City of Arts and Sciences can be accessed directly on foot, just a 20 minutes walk. Less than five minutes from the city's historic center, whilst you can also count on a tram stop to the Valencia beaches and connecting subway stop to the Valencia International Airport.

The area surrounding the apartment:

Well connected by public bus and subway, the apartment also offers guests the possibility of taking a walk directly from the River to the City of Arts and Sciences... or rather accessing from the Puente de las Artes the noble part of the city.

Renowned and prestigious gourmet restaurants near the museum area, and a whole tour of architectural surprises, shopping, and leisure areas await visitors.

The apartment:

The Livingstone apartment, which can accommodate up to 5 guests, is located

on the first floor

of a newly built building, and offers a large, garden-like and refreshing terrace covered with artificial grass and lined with tropical plants.

The foyer leads onto the living room and dining area, where the dining room area is clearly marked by its earthy color tone decor and can accommodate up to 5 people. The living room, furnished with a sofa and armchairs, TV set and DVD player, has a private balcony facing a large avenue from which guests can catch patched of the riverbed's lush vegetation and spectacular views of the new Pont de les Arts and the IVAM.

The kitchen is spacious, with wood-paneling, fully equipped and offers guests the possibility of enjoying breakfast either at the kitchen table or out on the terrace (to which it has direct access) or to use the kitchen space as an enjoyable meeting point.

The apartment offers 3 bedrooms: 2 doubles and one single. All bedrooms look towards the outside, whether onto the large terrace, or they count on their own balcony. The single bedroom fully equipped and with cheerful decor consists of an office, a built-in wardrobe and a large window which looks out on the terrace.

The en-suite bedroom is very bright and has its own balcony as well as a spacious bathroom with a bathtub and a large closet. The river views and the city views, the apartment's light, and its subtle decor offer guests a place to relax.

The second double bedroom's charm is not just its size or the practical distribution of space - equipped with a large wardrobe and decor in sync with the rest of the rooms - but above all, its direct access to the terrace, which floods the room with the green color of the terrace's vegetation.

The apartment has a fully equipped all interior bathroom with shower, cabinets and accessories.

Note that the building counts on video intercom for your safety, whilst to make your stay more comfortable it also counts on hot/cold centralized air conditioning in all rooms.

By staying in our Livingstone apartment you will enjoy a fully functional stay with all the commodities during your visit to Valencia!

Ciutat Vella/El Carmen

The historical centre of Valencia is comprised of El Carmen and the commercial city centre - Ciudad Vella.
Among the most important monuments are Plaza Redonda, Torres de quart, Portal de Valldigna and the Iglesia Del Carmen. One of the main features of El Carmen are the holes in the massive towers of the Torres De Quart from the cannonballs used in the time of Napoleon. The ancient winding streets of the Barrio del Carmen contain buildings dating back to Roman and Arabic times. The Cathedral, built between the 13th and 15th century, is primarily of Gothic style, but contains elements of Baroque and Romanesque architecture. Beside the Cathedral is the Gothic Basilica of the Virgin (Basílica De La Virgen De Los Desamparados). The 15th century Serrano and Quart towers are part of what was once the wall surrounding the city.
UNESCO has recognized the Late Gothic silk exchange (La Lonja de la Seda) as a World Heritage Site. The modernist Central Market (Mercado Central) is one of the largest in Europe. The main railway station, Estación Del Norte, is built in art deco style.
The area is full of young people and lively bars.  This lifestyle in contrast to the backdrop of old stone buildings and hidden courtyards, huge wooden doors with high door-knockers (to be reached from horseback) gives the Carmen a unique charm.

In the city centre, to the south of the Carmen, you will find all the international high street shops and most well known brand names. The largest square is the Plaça de l'Ajuntament, which contains the town hall (ajuntament), a cinema that shows classic movies (La Filmoteca), and many restaurants and bars. You cannot miss the majestic post office with paintings on the ceiling.
