This modern, cozy and comfortable apartment is located in the most chic neighborhood of Valencia, called El Carmen. The apartment Gimenez offers everything necessary for your stay in the modern city of Valencia.
The area surrounding the apartment:
The apartment Gimenez is situated in the most entertaining and chic neighborhood of the city. Where, you will find a great selection of bars, clubs and restaurants, without even having to leave the historic neighborhood of Valencia. It is situated very close to the cathedral, the central market, the botanic garden, the IVAM, MUVIM, etc…everything within walking distance.
You have comfortable and rapid access to the beach, to the new port of Valencia and to the city of arts and sciences, using public transport near the apartment.
In addition to this, the biggest local park in Valencia is located next to the apartment; called “Antiguo cauce del río Turia”.
The apartment:
The Gimenez apartment, located on an 8th floor with elevator, is very bright and has recently been decorated. It is necessary to go up a set of stairs from the building's entrance to the elevator, and a second set of stairs from the elevator to the apartment's entrance door.
It boasts a splendid private terrace with plants, a table and chairs and exceptional views to the park. The street and area are very quiet.
Immediately after entering the Gimenez apartment you find yourself in the large and comfortable living/dining room with direct access to the splendid private terrace. The living room has a large and comfortable sofa which blends in perfectly with the brightness and modern day style of the apartment, all in white. It also has a table and chairs for guests to have their meals at ease.
The kitchen opens up onto the dining room area. It is modern and completely equipped to guarantee that guests can cook any kind of meal they please.
The main bedroom is large and bright and has a double bed. The bedroom also has sufficient space for guests to store their luggage comfortably in a modern wall to wall wardrobe.
Next, guests will find a second very light bedroom with two single beds. From this bedroom you have access to the laundry area.
Lastly, the modern bathroom is equipped with a large shower.
The apartment Gimenez has a modern feeling and it is ideal for a stay with family or friends. It is situated in the historical centre, a very hip and entertaining neighborhood, but located in a quiet street...

Ciutat Vella/El Carmen
The historical centre of Valencia is comprised of El Carmen and the commercial city centre - Ciudad Vella.
Among the most important monuments are Plaza Redonda, Torres de quart, Portal de Valldigna and the Iglesia Del Carmen. One of the main features of El Carmen are the holes in the massive towers of the Torres De Quart from the cannonballs used in the time of Napoleon. The ancient winding streets of the Barrio del Carmen contain buildings dating back to Roman and Arabic times. The Cathedral, built between the 13th and 15th century, is primarily of Gothic style, but contains elements of Baroque and Romanesque architecture. Beside the Cathedral is the Gothic Basilica of the Virgin (Basílica De La Virgen De Los Desamparados). The 15th century Serrano and Quart towers are part of what was once the wall surrounding the city.
UNESCO has recognized the Late Gothic silk exchange (La Lonja de la Seda) as a World Heritage Site. The modernist Central Market (Mercado Central) is one of the largest in Europe. The main railway station, Estación Del Norte, is built in art deco style.
The area is full of young people and lively bars. This lifestyle in contrast to the backdrop of old stone buildings and hidden courtyards, huge wooden doors with high door-knockers (to be reached from horseback) gives the Carmen a unique charm.
In the city centre, to the south of the Carmen, you will find all the international high street shops and most well known brand names. The largest square is the Plaça de l'Ajuntament, which contains the town hall (ajuntament), a cinema that shows classic movies (La Filmoteca), and many restaurants and bars.You cannot miss the majestic post office with paintings on the ceiling.

Die Einrichtung der Wohnung. Sehr hell und freundlich. Tolle Terrasse. Gute Matratzen. Komplette K�che. Klimaanlage und die fantastische Lage mit guter Verkehrsanbindung. Sehr freundliches Kontaktpersonal. Wir durften statt um 11 Uhr um 14 Uhr auschecken. Daf�r einen extra Punkt.

The fact that the apartment was just as it appeared in the advert, and we could make full use of the lovely roof terrace for our breakfasts. It was in an excellent location,yet was still wonderfully quiet ( which we both appreciated )Everything was ideal.

Ja heel goed, alleen de afwasmachine deed het niet, maar thuis moet ik ook afwassen, dus dat maakte niet zoveel uit. Het terras was lekker ruim, de airco deed het gelukkig goed, en de locatie was super. We hebben echt genoten.
