The Diabelli Apartment is located in the most historical and cosmopolitan part of the city; right in front of the main train station and only minutes from Valencia’s City Hall building. Also walking distance from the Cathedral and various other historic places of Valencia.

Europe’s largest fresh food market is only a walk away. You will also find many other supermarkets of different origins, and on Tuesdays an open air flea market. You will also be able to find a great selection of bars, restaurants and discos in the area.

The apartment has excellent connections to the beach, the City of Arts and Sciences and to Valencia’s international airport on different public transportations. There is a direct underground line to the airport.

The Apartment;



This very spacious apartment, looks over the street, has two bedrooms and is on a

second floor with no elevator.

Even though it maintains the antique style of its age, it is very well decorated with white wooden beams, high ceilings and various windows and balconies. All with the original blinds, and ceramic floors.

As you enter on your right you will find a spacious living and dining room as a sitting area. It has a sofa bed (1,20 cms) for the 5th and 6th guests.

Entering from the living room is the first bedroom with two single beds. Following this is the second bedroom with a double bed. Both bedrooms have large windows and wardrobes to store all your belongings.

At the end of a thin hallway is the kitchen, open to a casual sitting room with a TV and sofa for daily use. Bar stools for more seating space and a fully equipped kitchen for you to feel right at home.

The apartment has two complete bathrooms. One comes with a shower and the other with a bath. On your arrival you will be supplied with all the necessary towels and bed linen necessary for your group.

A most comfortable, modern, economic apartment that will make an excellent stay during your visit to wonderful Valencia.

Ciutat Vella/El Carmen

The historical centre of Valencia is comprised of El Carmen and the commercial city centre - Ciudad Vella.
Among the most important monuments are Plaza Redonda, Torres de quart, Portal de Valldigna and the Iglesia Del Carmen. One of the main features of El Carmen are the holes in the massive towers of the Torres De Quart from the cannonballs used in the time of Napoleon. The ancient winding streets of the Barrio del Carmen contain buildings dating back to Roman and Arabic times. The Cathedral, built between the 13th and 15th century, is primarily of Gothic style, but contains elements of Baroque and Romanesque architecture. Beside the Cathedral is the Gothic Basilica of the Virgin (Basílica De La Virgen De Los Desamparados). The 15th century Serrano and Quart towers are part of what was once the wall surrounding the city.
UNESCO has recognized the Late Gothic silk exchange (La Lonja de la Seda) as a World Heritage Site. The modernist Central Market (Mercado Central) is one of the largest in Europe. The main railway station, Estación Del Norte, is built in art deco style.
The area is full of young people and lively bars.  This lifestyle in contrast to the backdrop of old stone buildings and hidden courtyards, huge wooden doors with high door-knockers (to be reached from horseback) gives the Carmen a unique charm.

In the city centre, to the south of the Carmen, you will find all the international high street shops and most well known brand names. The largest square is the Plaça de l'Ajuntament, which contains the town hall (ajuntament), a cinema that shows classic movies (La Filmoteca), and many restaurants and bars.You cannot miss the majestic post office with paintings on the ceiling.
