Located in a spectacular area, with views over the Strait of Gibraltar, over the mountains of the Natural Park of Alcornocales, and out all the way to Morocco, the house is only a few minutes away from the town of Tarifa.
The apartment:
With a capacity of 8 guests, this wonderful villa is an oasis of peace and comfort.
Housing several terraces and a large swimming-pool, it's an ideal place to spend your holidays in both winter and summer-time alike.
It has four double bedrooms, three of which have 2 single beds each, while the master bedroom offers a double bed, an en-suite bathroom and sea views. The rest of the bedrooms have wonderful mountain views.
There are two full bathrooms, all spacious, and there is also a guest toilet.
The kitchen is large, with central counters, and contains all the kitchen utensils needed to prepare any kind of tasty recipe whilst looking out towards the coast of Africa. It is also furnished with a table and chairs and leads out to an outside terrace.
The living-room has an immense fireplace and spectacular views, a large plasma TV, DVD player, HIFI stereo system, and wireless ADSL Internet access. The open-plan dining area has a large round table where you can enjoy your meals.
The house is surrounded by terraces on which you can make the most of the open air, take meals al-fresco or simply lie on a hammock relaxing and reading a book.
The 8x4 swimming pool has a fence, making it safe for smaller children. In the house you will be able to find sun-loungers and parasols for all.
Depending on the season you may have to pay an extra fee for heating.
Cadiz
Cadiz, known worldwide for its long history, is probably the oldest city in the civilization of Western Europe. With more than 3,000 years, is the present capital of the Andalusian province.
Here, they settled in this order, the Phoenicians, who gave the place the name of “Ghadir”, which means strength, the Romans, the Byzantines, the Visigoths, the Muslims, and finally the Christians. From this great city left Columbus to conquer America.
This city situated on a bay, is equipped with all the infrastructure of a big city. It is located 40min. away from Jerez airport, it has a line of high-speed railway, which connects to the main Spanish cities and it has several city bus lines.
The whole architectural set is extremely rich. The old town is considered Historic Artistic Monument. Emphasizing, in the religious architecture, we will find: Cadiz Cathedral, the church of Santa Cruz, The Church of St. Augustine and the Torre Tavira.
In civil architecture: The walls of the city, Real Jail, El Palacio de los Mora, and the Teatro Romano.
A multitude of monuments to enrich the disturbing history of this ancient city. Clean beaches of fine sand, ideal for swimming and relaxing without getting overheated, caressed by the constant sea breezes. Parks with thousands of fragrances. Small tapas bars, where you can eat and chat with the friendly people of Cadiz. Outdoor terraces to enjoy a fried fish or a refreshing “gazpacho andaluz”.
