This neighbourhood is next to all the shops, bars and restaurants in Tarifa. It is the perfect enclave to enjoy a fun and entertaining stay in a quiet, typically Andalusian part of town with a lot of traditional flair.
This simple but lovely apartment can sleep up to four people, so it's perfect for couples, friends or family. It is located on the first floor, and to access it guests must walk through a typical Andalusian courtyard and up a narrow staircase. It has lots of natural light and is right alongside Tarifa's old city wall itself. The minimalist, unique décor makes it a comfortable and spacious accommodation. In the living/dining area there is a table for four and two sofa beds, full of cushions on which to lounge around and relax after a long day at the beach. The kitchen is open plan, adjacent to the dining area, and has everything you need to prepare great meals.
The bathroom is very bright and has a large shower. Lastly, there is a spacious, comfortable and bright master bedroom with a queen size bed, a small dressing area, and a small balcony.
The El Retiro apartment is the perfect choice for those guests wanting to enjoy a perfect weekend, a full week’s holiday or even months in an authentic part of Tarifa.

Tarifa
Tarifa is located in the southern most tip of Europe at just 14 kilometers away from Morocco and the African continent. Tangier can be reached by fast ferry across the Strait of Gibraltar in about 30 minutes. Cape of Tarifa or Tarifa inland, serves as the division between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean.
Known worldwide for its strong winds of Poniente and Levante, it is one of the best places in Europe to practice water sports such as Windsurf and Kitesurf. Its wonderful natural environment allows for other leisure activities like whale watching, aboard ships in the Strait of Gibraltar, and bird watching in the Natural Park of Alcornocales, and in the Natural Park of the Straight.
It has miles of beautiful beaches from Playa de Los Lances , in the same city of Tarifa, to Valdevaqueros, Punta Paloma or Bolonia. In Bolonia you will find the old Roman city ruins of Baelo Claudia.
It is a perfect place for all kind of people, those looking for rest and peace in its spectacular beaches, as well as those looking for the “Tarifeña Night”, that offers a wide range of clubs, pubs, bares de tapas and good restaurants, until sunrise.
