Aiguadolc


The marina of Aiguadolç is, considering its location and surroundings, one of the best in the whole of Spain. The centre of the marina consists of a rustic but elegant apartment complex, designed like an ancient typical white fishing village with the Aiguadolç apartment being a part of this.

The promenade of the Marina has a lot of shops and elegant restaurants which in summer are frequented by many visitors and boat owners.

The Aiguadolç marina compares easily to the marina in Marbella.

In winter time guests enjoy the marina's calm and sunny days.

Next to the marina the guest will find two of the most beautiful beaches of Sitges: The “Playa de Aiguadolç” and the “Calas de Balmins”.

A ten minute walk takes the guest to the old part and also the centre of Sitges town.

Can Girona


The “Can Girona” area is the continuation of Terramar neighbourhood. Being located next to the famous golf course, this is considered a very exclusive area of Sitges.

The golf course of Sitges is one of the best in Spain.

There are some very impressive mansions here located in the hills. All of them enjoy impressive ocean views.

The distance to the centre is approximately 0,93 mi and it is recommended to have a car.

Casa del Mar


The new and very exclusive development of “Casa del Mar” designed by prized architects is located approximately 5 to 8 minutes south of Sitges and 2 minutes north of “Vilanova I la Geltru”by car.

Castelldefels


Castelldefels is located in the province of Barcelona between the city of Sitges and Barcelona. The distance to Sitges is approximately 11 mi and to Barcelona approximately 15 mi.

Castelldefels is located at the heart of Costa del Garraf, between the mountainous landscape of the massif of Garraf and the Mediterranean. More than five kilometres worth of fine beaches are found there, only a few minutes away form Barcelona and its international airport.

This exceptional location makes it an attractive tourist destination for those who wish to observe the sharp contrasts that the region of Baix Llobregat exhibits. Thus, the visitor will be able to play any water sport in the unbeatable facilities of the marina, including canoeing in the Olympic Canal, built for the 1992 Olympics. The lovely temperatures of the coast of Barcelona will let us enjoy the Mediterranean waters, and the rich artistic heritage. The ancient castle of Fels, which gave this town its name, dominates the coastline of the city. We can also see medieval defence towers, erected in the 16th century, such as the towers of Can Ballester and Barona Tower.

Castelldefels is located very close to the International Airport of Barcelona.

Centro


The centre of Sitges stretches out from the major plaza in Sitges, the “Cap de la Vila” towards the beach.

The northern part around “Cap de la Vila” is the old part of Sitges and called “Casco Antigio”. This part of Sitges consists of tiny, little picturesque streets with antique, but remodelled houses, painted in white and blue colours.

The guest will find all places of interest as for example the museums (Cau Ferat), but also the famous charismatic church, the most important landmark of Sitges.

The southern part around the “Cap de la Vila”is the newer part of Sitges.

All commercial facilities as shops, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, gyms and the nightlife can be found here.

The train station (RENFE), bus stops and Taxi stops are located in this area.

Taking the train from here to Barcelona City takes about 30 minutes.

Garraf


The national park "Garraf" has a unique vegetation and offers walkingtrails of approximately 6 to 30 km length. If you are not into walking and you would like to visit all the atractions of the surroundings, it is advisable to rent a jeep.

The most important destination is the Buddhist monastery "Sakya Tashi Ling" which is open to the public on weekends and holidays.

A wealthy merchant family, who returned from South America, built the main house of the monastery "Palau Novella," in the 19th century. They donated it in 1969 to the Buddhist community.

The monastery has a Tibetan and a Roman museum. Beside that, classes in meditation, as tai chi, yoga, massage, Qi Gong, Chakras and reiki are offered.

The little village Garraf is located at the foot of the Sierra de Coma Roja Mountains in the Garraf region and is literally a little paradise right by the sea. This romantic village consists of small bays with white sandy beaches and is maybe one of the most beautiful spots in the whole province of Barcelona.

The village is enclosed by the picturesque Garraf Mountains.

Out of season the visitor can enjoy a unique tranquillity and it seems like that time stands still, the feeling is nearly unreal.

The sleeping beauty of Garraf only wakes up during the busy summer season.

Therefore it is not surprising that over the last centuries many poets and artists have been inspired by this unique landscape.

The beach promenade consists of little, very typical wooden houses that were built by fishermen and served to store their boats.

Today these houses are privately owned and you will not find any similar to them on the whole coastline.

Going up the stairs from the beach towards the village the visitor will pass the restaurants "La Cupila" and the "El Chiringuito". Both are well known for their delicious, fresh seafood.

From their terraces the guest will enjoy some brethtaking ocean views of the coastline.

A small road connects the village of Garraf with the port. Here the visitor will find one of the major tourist attractions throughout the region, the "Club Nàutic Garraf” yachtclub.

The club has a bar, a restaurant, a swimming pool, a sauna and a fitness club.

The main square of the center of Garraf is called, "Plaça de Baró de Güell" and features the tourist office and a small local restaurant.

The small main square and the local church are conected by the "Calle de la Eglesia". The little church is guarded by a white statue of the Virgin Mary wearing a starfish on her head.

The main attraction in Garraf however is the Celler Güell, a house that was build by Antoni Gaudi and Francesc Berenguer Mestres in 1892 in the style of modernism.

Today it is a very elegant restaurant that specializes in weddings and other celebrations.

Even though the Celer Guell is a quiet expensive restaurant, it is a must to any visitor, coming to Garraf.

The very tranquil village of Garraf with its still very little frequented beach is the perfect place for the guest looking for pure and stress free relaxation.

How to get there:

This quiet village is situated between Barcelona (25 Km) and Sitges (6 Km).

The distance from Garraf to Barcelona International Airport is approximately 25 Km.

Garraf is very well connected by freeways and public transports as trains and buses.

La Bovila


The quiet La Bovila area is located behind the center of Sitges direction towards Vallpineda.

The centre of Sitges is approximately 8 walking minutes away, and it takes about 10 walking minutes to get to the beach; you can also take the bus (one stop).

In 5 minutes you can reach the train station (RENFE national rail service) which takes about 20 minutes to get to Barcelona.

Te area has a supermarket, a restaurant (Tros) and a pharmacy.

La Plana de Sitges


The western continuation of Sitges Centre is called “La Plana de Sitges”. This area is actually still part of the centre and all parts of Sitges Centre are just in walking distance. “La Plana de Sitges” is a newer part of Sitges with modern buildings and many bars and shops and it is located in the inner part of Sitges behind the centre.

Levantina


“Levantina, Quint Mar and Montgavina” are very exclusive and very new residential developments.

They are all located in the hills above Sitges.

It’s a very tranquil neighbourhood with many exclusive villas and apartment buildings. Almost all of them enjoy incredible views of ocean, Sitges and mountains and almost all of them have swimming pools.

It takes about three minutes by car to going down to the centre of Sitges.

We recommend having a car.

Los Molinos


“Pins Bens” and “Los Molinos” are newer parts of Sitges with modern buildings.

Montgavina

Olivella


Olivella is is located at the foot of the National Park of the Garraf Mountains, in the county of Olivella (residential area of Mas Mestre).

The distance to the beaches of Sitges with its famous romantic museums and restaurants with typical Mediterranean cuisine is only 7 Kilometers away.

The Garraf forms part of the Catalan Coastal Mountains. Most of the massif is made up of limestone, producing a thoroughly Karstified scenery with typical features such as dolines, potholes, gorge and limestone pavements.

Although the park's north-eastern fringes are cloaked in dense pinewoods, most of the massif is covered by a low garrigue, which has taken hold as fire and overgrazing over the centuries reduced the ancient forests.

Activities to do in the surroundings are: golf, riding, hiking, diving, sailing, visiting the Tibetan Monasteries, the romantic museums, the restaurants of Sitges and the typical fiestas.

Pins Bens


“Pins Bens” and “Los Molinos” are newer parts of Sitges with modern buildings.

Playa San Sebastian


The “Playa San Sebastian” is very centrally located with probably one of the most beautiful beaches of Sitges, a little sandy beach right behind the church, the town’s landmark.

The “Playa San Sebastian“ has its own beach promenade with in bars and restaurants.

This still originally maintained part of Sitges is located next to the old part of Sitges with its tiny, little white and blue painted streets.

The guest is only steps away from all local amenities as restaurants, bars and night life.

At 5 minutes walk, the guest will find three of the most beautiful bays“Calas dels Balmins“ with white, sandy beaches, one of them a nude beach.

Right behind these three bays begins the marina of Sitges, as same as elegant as the Marbella marina with trendy and elegant restaurants, bars and discos.

Poble Sec


The western continuation of Sitges Centre, which starts behind the the train station is called “Poble Sec”.

The “Poble sec” is actually still part of the centre and all parts of Sitges Centre are just in walking distance.

“Poble Sec” is a newer part of Sitges with many bars and shops and it is located in the inner part of Sitges behind the centre.

Quint Mar

Sant Pere de Ribas


San Pedro de Ribas (Sant Pere de Ribas en Catalán) is a comunity of the county of Garraf in the province of Barcelona and is located 27,96 mi southeast of the city of Barcelona and the Garraf mountains. Sant Pedro de Ribas economic activity is based on agriculture, residential areas and rural tourism. Monuments of interest are: The neogotic church of Sant Pere de Ribas, the Plaza “Font” and the “Torre del Castillo”. Sant Pere de Ribas has approximately 27000 inhabitants. The Vinyet Part, (the most southern part of the promenade is called ”Terramar”) is the continuation of the southern part of Sitges Centre and is stretches out along the beach promenade “Paseo Maritimo”.

Vinyet and Terramar are the most exclusive and quietest areas of Sitges.

The visitor will find the most elegant and enormous colonial mansions along this 1,55 mi palm lined beach promenade with white sandy beaches, ideal for walking, cycling, roller blading or sun bathing.

The area is very quiet and elegant without shops, just some cafes right at the beach in Terramar.

It takes about 10 minutes walking to get to the centre of Sitges. There is no need for a car.

Vilanova i la Geltru


Vilanova i la Geltru is the capital of the Garraf region is situated half-way between two important metropolitan areas (40 Km from Barcelona and 45 Km from Tarragona). It covers an area of 33,5 Km2 and has a population of 62,000 inhabitants.

The old part of Vilanova conserves its medieval defensive wall. Its most outstanding buildings include: the Santa María de la Geltrú Parish Church, with an 18th century polychromed wooden altarpiece, and Sant Gervasi Church; the Principal Theatre; the Railway Museum and the Víctor Balaguer Museum-Library, dated 1888, home to an important collection of Catalonian paintings from the 19th and 20th centuries. Also worthy of mention are Casa Cabanyes House and the Can Papiol Museum, a 19th century stately house that will take you on a trip back in time. This coastal town is a major tourist destination in summer. This has lead to the appearance of many bars, restaurants, night spots and shops. Vilanova i la Geltrú also has a wide range of leisure and sports activities on offer, such as scuba diving, sailing and horse riding.

Vilanova i la Geltru is located very close to the International Airport of Barcelona.

It takes about 35 minutes to the Airport.
