The Villa Sherezade in Sitges

The luxuriously restored Masía “Villa Sherezade” is located in the National Park of Garraf only 6 km south of Sitges and just two Km from the village of “Sant Pere de Ribes” and offers dramatic sea and mountain views from every room or terrace.

The Masía, (Catalan manor house) which was built in 1592 offers high-tech comfort, whilst keeping the historic charm and character of the original building and can accommodate up to 24 guests in the main building which offers 8 spacious suites with 8 bathrooms and two guest toilets. There is an detached cottage which offers living /dining area with American kitchen, 1 bedroom and 1 full bathroom and can accommodate an additional 4 guests. The Villa is a significant landmark in the Garraf area and was formerly used for winemaking and farming. Original details such as the wine presses and the bodega have been preserved.
“Villa Sherezade” is a tranquil haven of 1300 sqm that has more than 300 acres of private grounds with vineyards, whose grapes are used for Freixenet, Codorniu and other local cavas. Amongst the 14 kilometers of private tracks you will also find pear, olive, cherry, walnut and almond trees in addition to many naturally growing herbs and vegetables (asparagus, rosemary and mushrooms).
The Masía itself is surrounded by a large tiled courtyard with palm and citrus trees, a Moroccan lounge, a solar heated 10 x 6 m swimming pool and a Jacuzzi.
The place is ideal for families, corporate groups and special occasions such as weddings, filming and production launches. (Up to 120 guests)

Ground floor :

“Villa Sherezade” offers a spacious entrance hall with arcs and natural stone walls and is equipped with sofas and chairs. The villa has been decorated exquisitely with a lot of taste.
On the left hand side of the entrance hall the guest will find a huge dining room with a table for up to 26 guests with an open designer kitchen on the opposite side of the room.
The kitchen is fully equipped and features all electrical restaurant appliances.
Behind the kitchen are two separate guest toilets.
Entering the former wine cellar, which is located on a lower floor, the guest will find a billiard room; a foosball game room and a room with home cinema with dolby surround system. This room has access to an outside patio with space for basketball.
Going up to a mezzanine there are two spacious living rooms, one of them has a chimney in the centre of the room. The two rooms are equipped with sofas, wooden chairs and T.V. As a continuation there is a spacious playroom for children.
Going up to a second mezzanine, the guest will discover the former round shaped wine cellar which has been changed into a little room to play chess and board table games.

First floor:

Suite number 1 which is located on the right hand side of the stairway comes with two sitting/living rooms, one bedroom and a spacious bathroom. The first living room which is situated in a former tower of the Villa has an antique chimney and features a large sofa bed (1.40 x 1.95) and has high ceilings of 6 m. The bedroom comes with a large double bed which offers terrace, ocean and mountain views and has its own private bathroom with spacious shower, toilet, bidet and two washbasins. The second sitting room at the end of this suite has another sofa bed (1.40 x 1.95) and comes with its own private terrace with chaise lounge chairs.

Suite number 2 which is located on the left hand side of the stairway has a private sitting room, a bedroom and a spacious bathroom. The bedroom comes with a double bed (1.95 x 2.00) and has an open bathroom. The bathtub and washbasins are integrated into the bedroom, while the toilet is located in a separate room. Behind this room the guest will find the sitting room with wooden beams. This room offers a sofa bed for two guests (1.60 x 1.95), a baby bed and beautiful pool, mountain and ocean views.

Suite number 3 which is located across the stairway features 1 bedroom with open bathroom and a sitting room. The sitting room, which offers a two seater sofa bed (1.60 x 1.95), is located next to the bedroom. The bedroom has a big double bed (1.80 x 2.00) which can be separated into two single beds. This bedroom has an open bathroom with open bathtub and sink. Shower and toilet are located in a separate room.

Suite number 4, which is called the “Japanese Room” has 1 bedroom and one bathroom and is equipped with a double bed (1.80 x 2.00) which can be separated into two single beds. This suite has terrace, mountain and ocean views.

Suite number 5, which is called the “Bali Room”, comes with one bedroom with a large bed (1.80 x 2.00), build in wardrobes and a private bath with shower, toilet and washbasin.

Suite number 6, which is named the “Ochre Room” has 1 bedroom and one bathroom, comes with two queen size beds and has its private bathroom with spacious shower, toilet and sink.

Second Floor:

Going up to the second floor, the guest will find a spacious terrace with chairs, a table and a massage bed. Additionally you will find the most spectacular suites located on this floor.

Suite number 7, named “Gold Suite” has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. This suite is very cozy and spacious with big wooden beams and offers fantastic ocean and mountain views. The very spacious bedroom offers a double bed (1.80 x 2.00), a sofa bed (1.60 x 1.95) and A.C.

Suite number 8, called the “Monterrat Suite” has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom.
The bedroom is equipped with a double bed (1.55 x 2.00). This Suite is very special, because the bathroom is located in the tower. To access the bathroom which has a Gaudi design, the guests have to walk down a stairway, where they will find the shower, toilet and washbasin.

The guest cottage next to the Masía:

A two story guest cottage is located next to the Masía which can accommodate up to 4 guests.
The cottage features a living /dining room with double sofa bed, T.V. and A.C. and a full bathroom.
The living /dining area and the second floor are open spaces and connected by a spiral stairway.
The upper level is an open bedroom space with 2 single beds.
As the upper and lower levels are open spaces, they will offer very little privacy, when occupied by 4 guests, but the place is ideal for a family with children.

“Villa Sherezade” is probably one of the most luxurious and prestigious Masías in the whole area.
It is the ideal place for guests, looking for an unforgettable stay in a unique spot.

In high season (from June 13th until September 5th) the minimum stay at “Villa Sherezade” is 7 days.
The guests stay has to start always on Saturday and has to end always on a Saturday. Exceptions could probably be made, if the guest wants to stay 10 days or longer.
The rest of the year the minimum stay and arrival and departure dates can be flexible. Please ask for possibilities.
