Sitges is a charming European coastal town located roughly about half an hour south of Barcelona; visitors that come to this really great town can enjoy ideal temperatures, and also a thriving nightlife and much more.
Calendar highlights would be the Carnival in February and the Sitges Film Festival in October...

The Area surrounding the Apartment :

The “Violeta” penthouse apartment is located in the centre of the old part of Sitges, the "Casco Antiguo" just steps away from the beach and next to the famous church which is the landmark of the town. With its little, tiny, picturesque streets and its dominating white and blue colours it is the most beautiful and romantic place in Sitges. All shops, bars, restaurants and the nightlife are in walking distance...
There is no need for a car, while staying at the “Violeta” apartment.
About 50 meters walk away, down a little street, the guest will find wide sandy beaches and a huge 2 km palm tree promenade, the "Paseo Maritimo", ideal for romantic walks, cycling or rollerblading....there are also some nudist beaches not too far away from this area...

The Apartment :

The “Violeta” penthouse apartment which is located in a tiny, little white picturesque street, will give the guest a feeling of being a local. The interior decoration is a very elegant and tasteful combination of wood and modern contemporary furniture with a feeling of warmth and cosiness. Entering the hallway of the lower floor, the guest will find a dining area with a fully equipped American designer kitchen. From this area big glass doors lead to a beautiful terrace with fantastic ocean views. This terrace, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, is the ideal place for a romantic dinner.
A master bedroom suite with big double bed and a sun terrace is located in the back part of the apartment.
The sunny terrace, overlooking the town of Sitges, is equipped with sun chairs and the ideal spot for the guest to relax afand another bedroom ter a busy day sightseeing. From the dining area located in the front part of the apartment there are steps leading up to the second floor, which is a completely open space. Here the guest will find the living room and another bedroom which is actually an open area off the main living space.
The bedroom space features a double bed and both open spaces which look down onto the lower floor.

Furthermore there is a full second bathroom on the upper floor.

The guest staying at the “Violeta” apartment will be able to relax on the beach, do all kinds of activities and sports or go for a sight-seeing tour to the city of Barcelona. It’s a 5 minute walk to get to the railway station where you can get a train into Barcelona that only takes about 30 minutes. Guests staying at the Violeta apartment will also find one of the best restaurants of Sitges just down the street next to the beach.

Centro sitges

The centre of Sitges stretches out from the major plaza in Sitges, the “Cap de la Vila” towards the beach. The northern part around “Cap de la Vila” is the old part of Sitges and called “Casco Antigio”. This part of Sitges consists of tiny, little picturesque streets with antique, but remodelled houses, painted in white and blue colours. The guest will find all places of interest as for example the museums (Cau Ferat), but also the famous charismatic church, the most important landmark of Sitges. The southern part around the “Cap de la Vila”is the newer part of Sitges. All commercial facilities as shops, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, gyms and the nightlife can be found here. The train station (RENFE), bus stops and Taxi stops are located in this area. Taking the train from here to Barcelona City takes about 30 minutes.
