Sitges is a charming European coastal town located roughly a half hour south of Barcelona; visitors to this really great town can enjoy ideal temperatures, and also a thriving nightlife and much more.

Often referred to as a "little San Francisco" the area is known for its gay life; a colourful and lively town full of atmosphere and energy.

Calendar highlights would be the Carnival in February and the Sitges Film Festival in October...

The Area surrounding the Apartment :

The Blaumar apartment is located in the centre of the old part of Sitges, the "Casco Antiguo" just steps away from the beach and next to the famous church which is the landmark of the town.
With its little, tiny, picturesque streets and its dominating white and blue colours it is the most beautiful and romantic place in Sitges.
All shops, bars, restaurants and the nightlife are in walking distance...
There is no need for a car, while staying at the Blaumar apartment.
At 50 meters walking down a little street, the guest will find wide sandy beaches and a huge 2 km palm tree promenade, the "Paseo Maritimo", ideal for romantic walks, cycling or rollerblading....there are also some nudist beaches not too far away from this area...

The Apartment:

The Blaumar apartment is typical "Sitgetanean" style with its terracotta floors.
Located in a tiny, little white picturesque street, the guest will feel like a local.
Entering the hallway, there are two bedrooms. One is located on the right hand side and one on the left hand side.
Each bedroom is equipped with a big comfortable bed.
The apartment has one big bathroom, typically tiled in blue and white, the colours of Sitges.
The kitchen is fully equipped for the guests....
The end of the hallway leads into a spacious living room which invites the guest to relax after sunbathing or sightseeing.
The guest can enjoy the beautiful balcony, which faces into the little, tiny street giving some view of the blue Mediterranean Sea...ideal for a romantic dinner.
The guest staying at the Blaumar apartment will be able to relax on the beach, do all kinds of active sports or go for a sight-seeing tour to the city of Barcelona.
Its a 5 minute walk to get to the railway station for Barcelona.
Beside that the guest will find one of the best restaurants of Sitges just down the street at the beach.
