The Mallol Apartment is bright and modern in a traditional area of the centre of Seville.....



The apartment is located in an area which is normally not full of tourists, so the guest will be able to get a feel for the real Seville.

The area surrounding the Apartment;



Due to its location in the historic centre of Seville, the Mallol Apartment is surrounded by beautiful old churches and squares, well worth walking around the area and at the same time guests can sample delicious home made tapas and food in one of the many local bars.

Some of the nearest places of interest include: the old city wall, the Andalusian Government Building, the Macarena Basilica and the Santa Paula and Santa Isabel Convents. Also close by are, the arts centre "Iniciarte" which is in an old church and the Pelícano Square which is home to the centre for arts and music.

But as with most of our apartments this property is really no different with regards to location. Therefore most "must-see" monuments are within walking distance, some further than others but nothing is really more than a 20 minute stroll from the apartment.

About a 20 minute walk away the Giralda, the Cathedral and the Royal Alcazar (palace well worth a visit). Five minutes from that you are at the river, with the Torre del Oro and a bit further along is the Maestranza bullring....

The main shopping area is also close by, after visiting all the great sights and monuments you can continue to walk another 10-15 minutes through the town, and you are in the main commerical area of Seville, the streets Tetuán, Sierpes and Cuna are within minutes of each other as is El Corte Inglés. Great shopping for all!

The Apartment;



This bright spacious one bedroom apartment is on the top floor of its building.

As you enter the apartment you are in the bright lounge. This room is welcoming and has two large sofas, where guests can sit back and relax or watch some TV after a day out sightseeing or shopping.

Off this area there is a good size balcony decorated with some lovely potted plants, guests can sit out and enjoy the warm evenings. During the day if it gets too hot, as it can be very hot in Seville, there is a canopy that can be drawn over to provide that much needed shade!

The kitchen is new and bright, with all the modcons the modern traveller might require. Guests will be able to make delicious meals here and sit around the table in the lounge.

The bedroom is also off the lounge, it has a large double bed, fresh linens are provided for the guests. There is a large wardrobe with drawers which provides ample space for all the guests' belongings.

The bathroom is just beside the bedroom, fresh clean towels are provided for guests. The bathroom has a shower, bathtub, basin and WC.

This apartment has a really nice welcoming feel to it and it is sure to make your stay that bit more enjoyable!

Centro sevilla

As with most of Seville this area is full of squares, churches, small streets and the daily hussle and bussle of the city centre.

Seville centre is made up of neighbourhoods or barrios and the area we describe as the centro is no less picturesque or important than the barrios described on the web page. In fact all together they make up what is known as the Centro de Sevilla.

Small streests filled with modern shops, beautiful old buildings some now modern offices behind old facades and others private houses that have been restored to the last detail. Beautiful ornate squares such as the Plaza San Francisco and the Town Hall, a magnificent building are just a couple of examples of the fabulous architecture of Seville. The Plaza del Salvador, home to the Church of Salvador, recently restored is truly incredible.

Quite a few of the streets in the Centro are pedestrian, the most important one being the Avenida de la Constitución, which runs through one of the main parts and right along tne side of the Cathedral. Visitors staying in the Centro as with most of the other areas are in walking distance to all the must-see apartments.

    Being able to meet and talk to the owner. She actually lives in the apartment during the winter so there were great home-like features. Wonderful linens, towels, shampoo, soap. Cannot emphasis opportunity to meet the owner! The terrace was everything, and more, than we expected. The photo of the terrace was what attracted us to the property and it is more beautiful now! Owner should update that picture. Location was terrific although there was no view. We were very happy and would like to return. Thomas, United States 24 May 2011
