The San Clemente Apartment in Seville for rent

The San Clemente Apartment is a bright and modern two bedroom apartment in the San Lorenzo area of the centre of Seville.....

The apartment is located in an area which is normally not full of tourists, so the guest will be able to get a feel for the real Seville.

The area surrounding the Apartment;

The apartment is off a street called by the locals, "the street of the three convents or monastaries", Santa Ana, Santa Clara and San Clemente, these last two are National Historic Monuments. They survive on donations and selling home made pastries and local desserts, apparently well worth sampling!!!

The apartment is also a five minute walk from the San Lorenzo sqaure, home to the Basilica of Jesus del Gran Poder and to the Church of San Lorenzo two fantastic monuments well worth visiting.

If you are lucky enough to be in Seville for the Semana Santa (Holy Week) this is a really privileged location, as many processions leave from this area....

Although the apartment is not located in the usual touristy area, all the "must see" monuments, la Giralda, the Cathedral, the Royal Alcazar etc are only a 15-20 minute walk away. Also to get to these amazing monuments you can choose to stroll through the commercial area of Seville, full of shops also well worth a visit, where guests will surely find something to take home with them...

The nearby area of the Alameda, just around the corner, is good for bars & cafeteria/restaurants. This area has undergone huge works and improvements and is becoming the "in place". Some consider it to be bohemian and alternative and others say there is something for everybody ... but there is always a great buzz especially at weekends.

The Apartment;

This two bedroom apartment is on the ground floor and is in a new building.

As you walk in the door you find yourself in the living/dinning area. The area is bright and welcoming and has two comfortable red leather sofas where guests can sit back and relax and/or watch television on the huge flat screen or a DVD should the guests have any with them.

The dinning area is good in size and guests will be able to sit and enjoy any meals they prepare in the fully equipped modern red kitchen which has everything one would need to cook delicious food. There is a large table and four chairs for your use.

Leaving this area behind you there is a small corridor; to the right the twin bedroom, bright and decorated in pastel colours, the second bed is under the top one and guest only have to give a gentle pull and the bed rolls out. There is wardrobe for the guest to hang their belongings.

Across from this bedroom is the main bathroom, simple in style it has all you need, shower, bath tub, WC, guests will find clean fluffy towels for their stay.

At the end of the corridor is the master bedroom, again simple and stylish it is bright and welcoming. This bedroom has built-in wardrobes providing ample space for all the guests' belongings. The ensuite bathroom is off the bedroom, it has a wash basin, WC and shower again guests will also find nice fluffy towels for their use.

There is also a small terrace which at the moment is not furnished but will be ready for use come Spring '08!!

This apartment is on a quiet side road and has double glazing to ensure those holiday lie-ins!!

If you are arriving by car, there is an underground car park space that can be rented at 15€ a day.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a third room in the apartment that is furnished with storage units and a desk, it is an ideal area for guests to store their empty suitcases, or if you are in Seville on business it is a great study/office area.
