The area surrounding the House;

As with most of our apartments this property is really no different with regards to location. Situated in the old quarter most "must-see" monuments are within walking distance, some further than others but nothing is really more than a 20 minute walk from the house. The Barrio Santa Cruz is a five minute walk...

The nearest is the Casa Pilatos, literally down the road from the house, this a small palace built in the 16th century. Then of course, about a 15 minute walk away are the Giralda, the Cathedral and the Royal Alcazar (another palace). Five minutes from that you are at the river, with the Torre del Oro and a bit further along is the Maestranza bullring....

The main shopping area is also close by, after visiting Casa Pilatos you can continue to walk another 10-15 minutes through the Alfafa, and you are in the main commerical area of Seville, the streets Tetuán, Sierpes and Cuna are within minutes of each other as is El Corte Inglés. Great shopping for all!

The river now in the summer time, is a great place to go in the evening, there are many outdoor bars with tables and chairs where you can spend a relaxing time watching Seville go by!!

The House;

This recently refurbished fantastic 3 bedroom house meets all the needs of the modern day traveller. It has been finished to the highest of standards.

As you open the wooden doors to the house you step into the entrance which retains the original tiles and wrought iron gate.

We are now on the ground floor, to your left the dining room with large table that sits 6 people, meals can be passed from the kitchen through the small arch in the wall. The sitting room is off this area, it has a lot of natural light and is comfortable and welcoming, for the winter time it has a working wood burner, the sofa is also a standard double sofa bed should an extra bed be needed.

The kitchen is also on this floor, new, modern and fully equiped and with marble counters and breakfast bar with stools this a truly fantastic kitchen, as mentioned above there's an opening in the wall through which meals can be passed from the kitchen to the dining area.

The WC on this floor is tiled with Italian marble and will have fresh clean towels for the guests.

Climb the stairs to the first floor, here we have the main bedrooms, (two double rooms) and the main bathroom. The large master bedroom wth three double french windows and again a wood burner for those cold winter nights, is spacious and has fabulous natural light. Over the double bed, the owners have hung a pair of the original wooden window shutters as decoration. There are built in wardrobes for the guests to hang all their clothes.

The second bedroom again with its double bed and built in wardrobes has one set of french windows, although smaller this room still gets a lot of natural light.

The main bathroom is also on this floor, again tiled with Italian marble it is brand new. It has both bath tub and shower and fresh clean fluffy towels for the guests.

We now go up to the second floor, this is where the third bedroom is and the roof terrace. The bedroom boasts an antique iron bed, this is a small double bed ideal for one person. All rooms including this one have air conditioning, although this one also has a wooden fan hanging from the ceiling.

The roof terrace is large and has a table and chairs for guests to sit out on to have meals or simply just to relax in the sun or the warm evenings.

The washing machine is also on this floor so as to make it easier for the guests as the washing line is on the terrace.

There is a telephone in the house from which guests can make local and national calls to any landline free of charge. International calls, calls to cell phones and calls to 902 numbers are not permitted.

The house retains a lot of the orignal features, wooden beams and some of the tiles, this is really a fantastic house that can only make you stay in Seville even better!!
