Perfect for a couple, this comfortable and bright one bedroom apartment has all you need to explore the beautiful seaside town of San Sebastian. Located right on the beachfront this apartment will be your focal point from which you can map out where and what you want to see around the San Sebastian area.
The area surrounding the apartment:
The Chillida apartment, recently constructed (May 2004), is situated in the heart of San Sebastian with spectacular views of the beach and sea. It is within walking distance from the old town, the San Telmo aquarium and the funicular de Igueldo train. For your enjoyment you can walk along the beachfront and admire the original works of sculpture of the famous Eduardo Chillida. Also within walking distance you can wander into the gardens of the Palace of Miramar which Queen Maria Cristina used as her summer residence. The entire area surrounding the apartment building is dated circa 19th century with a romantic feel and with incredible restaurants where you experience the famous Basque cuisine.
The apartment:
The Chillida apartment building has been newly built and is totally furnished with modern facilites and design. The 60 m2 apartment is located on the 5th floor with elevator. The elevator itself meets all handicap regulations and the building has been designed with marble and steel finishings. The entire apartment flooring and doors are made out of high quality beech.
This great apartment comes with a telephone and WI-FI connection, so guests can send their "wish you were here...." emails....
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the commonplace items like dishwasher, oven, fridge, microwave, pots, pans, coffee machine, fridge etc., The bathroom has a new hydro massage bath/shower unit which can be used by guests to relax after a hard days adventuring. Guests can be entertained by the TV, DVD and stereo system provided. All linens and towels are provided as well as an iron and ironing board.
