The Basque Apartment in San Sebastian

The Le Basque apartment has a surface area of 90 square metres and was renovated in 2005. Located in San Sebastian´s centre, next to La Concha beach and the town´s shopping area it is the perfect place for your stay in San Sebastian. At only 15 minutes walking distance from the train station.

The area

Le Basque is ideally located in the centre, yet next to the beautiful beach of la Concha and its beachside cafés, restaurants and seawater therapy and sports centre. Also only a stroll away from Ondarreta beach. Shopping is easy as San Martin´s new shopping centre is only a few blocks away. And walking to the old town or “Parte Vieja” is a very pleasurable 15 minutes walk along the Concha promenade.

The apartment

This is a very comfortable apartment, featuring high ceilings and spacious interiors.
The beginning of the last century apartment boasts an elegant eco-renovation where the typical Basque building structure has been uncovered revealing sandstone and oak. Original architecture features have been conserved to combine old world charm, with modern day comfort. The quality French-Basque furniture comes into this area to accentuate the timeless beauty of Basque heritage.
The apartment has an elevator, nine steps up from the main entrance.
Le Basque was refurbished with oak floors throughout the apartment and terracotta tiles in the bathroom.
The large dinning/lounge area, with two balconies opening onto the street that takes you right to the beach is fully furnished; with ample seating, a large dinning table, and TV,DVD,HIFI, WIFI and free National telephone calls included.
The apartment has two bedrooms:
The main bedroom is a spacious and peaceful room, with a 150cm double bed.
The second bedroom has a balcony opening onto the street, with two 90cm single beds, one is stored under the other for space while not in use.
The bathroom, with its stone wall framing the window is beautiful, comfortable and has a bath.
The large kitchen has French doors leading into the lounge. The kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, oven, fridge, freezer and a gas hob. All other kitchen necessities are there: blender, juicer, coffee maker, toaster, a kettle and a teapot. Pots and pans, plates and cutlery will make cooking just like at home.
