The San Marcial apartment is located in the center of San Sebastian town, just a short 4 min walk will take you the the famous La Concha beach. It has a terrace where the guest can sit out and enjoy the summer weather and a glass or two of fantastic spanish wine. Also within a short walk from the apartment is the famous old town center, the Muesum San Telmo and the Aquarium.

The area surrounding the apartment :

The San Marcial apartment is ideally situated on one of San Sebastians central streets right off one of the main avenues in San Sebastian, known as Avenida Libertad. Not far from the apartment is the newly renovated Mercado de San Martin or the Buen Pastor cathedral, and further along the old town and port. You are literally walking distance from lots of traditional Basque bars, in the old part of town, which serve the famous culinary pheonmenon of “pintxos” pronounced “pinchos”. The word is actually related to the English “pinch” (but has more cognates in other languages), and for a good reason. Pintxos are, rather than full dishes, just a pinch of this and a bit of that on a slice of bread to be had while enjoying a "caña" or a "tinto". In the Basque regions of Spain, especially San Sebastian where they were born, people in bars like to nibble on these little things made with a slice of toasted bread topped with mushrooms, cheese, salad, olives, tomatoes, spinach and/or whatever else you might have handy. Besides these gourmet treats, during your stay in this wonderful town you can amble along the coastal boardwalk that surrounds the bay.

The apartment:

The San Marcial apartment has approximate 50m2 and is classically furnished. The apartment is a one bedroomed, one bathroom hideaway treat for any guest coming to San Sebastian. It really is in a great location as you are never far from anything whilst staying at the San Marcial apartment.

Once enetering the apartment guests feel welcome and at home as the atmosphere is just that, a home away from home. The San Marcial apartment comes with TV and DVD located in the living room which includes a large sofa where the guest can sit back and relax after a long day out and about in this fantastic city.

The kitchen is seperate from the livign/dining area and guests are assured of all the basic utensils and mod cons from fridge-freezer, oven, vitroceramic tops, washing machine, coffee machine, etc. The living/dining area has a table and chairs where the guests can eat their meals....

The bathroom comes with a (small)bathtub/shower unit and fresh towels and paper are provided for the guest upon arrival.

Bed linens and towels are provided but beach towels would need to be brought by the guestes themselves.
