From here it only takes a few minutes' walk to get to Piazza Navona, Campo de’ Fiori or the Pantheon. The apartment:
Located on the fourth floor of a lovely, early 19th century building, without elevator access (approximately 80 steps), the Venus II apartment is a magnificent example of harmony between comfort and elegance. The rooms have been completely restructured and refurbished with great care for design, lighting and spacial functionality, emphasising the grace and highly evocative power of the design elements that have a more traditional flavour. Wooden ceilings and gorgeous parquet flooring with splendid veins, serve as the perfect framework for space: a bedroom, a living-room and an ultra-modern bathroom.
The living-room has been decorated following a monochromatic colour scheme of black and white, and contains a sofa bed that can sleep the third guest, a table with chairs, a TV and an open-plan kitchen, fully equipped, and which makes the whole complete. The bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed, bedside tables, a bench and a TV set. Lastly, there is a sophisticated, designer style bathroom fitted with a lovely shower, perfect to relax in at the end of the day.
It should be noted that the Venus II apartment is in the same building and on the same floor as the Venus apartment, making it possible for a larger group to spend their holidays together without however, sacrificing their own privacy.

The Vatican district is a quite and elegant area of the city centre of Rome adjacent to the Vatican City, the smallest independent country in the world. The area includes such resplendent sights as St. Peter’s Basilica (one of the world’s largest Christian churches), Castel St. Angelo and the astonishing Vatican Museums, one of the most beautiful and popular museums in the world. By crossing the bridge on the Tiber you can easily reach on foot the historical centre of Rome including Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish steps and the Coliseum. Also a five minutes' walk away you will find the charming Prati district: via Cola di Rienzo and Via Crescenzio with their countless boutiques represent a true paradise for shopping lovers.
The area is also very well served by public transports which provide a fast connection to Rome’s major historical sites and districts. The typical Trastevere neighborhood full of trendy bars and quality restaurants is reachable with a 20 minute walk along via della Lungara, once the private street of the Pope. Yet this is another fantastic and convenient location to discover all Rome’s wonders on foot!
