By choosing the Venus apartment you will find yourself staying in a magnificent, central zone, in a really fascinating neighbourhood of great historical value, one which historically was the antechamber to Saint Peter's and the Vatican Palaces. From here it only takes a few minutes' walk to get to Piazza Navona, Campo de’ Fiori or the Pantheon. Suited to two guests, the apartment's features and warm atmosphere make it perfect for a couple searching for an exclusive haven in one of the most romantic cities in the world.
The apartment:
Located on the fourth floor of a lovely, early 19th century building, without elevator access (approximately 80 steps), the Venus apartment is a magnificent example of harmony between comfort and elegance. Completely restructured with high quality materials and stylishly furnished with special care taken over the design, lighting and functionality of the different spaces, the apartment comprises of a large room, an independent kitchen and an ultra-modern bathroom.
The main room is decorated in a refined style, ornamented by fabulous, sophisticated details, and is furnished with a double bed, a TV, a small armchair and a built-in wardrobe. The independent kitchen has a table and chairs and is equipped with everything necessary to cook a Roman breakfast if you wish. Lastly, there is a modern, designer style bathroom fitted with a lovely shower, where you can relax at the end of the day.
The Venus is also fitted with A/C, independent heating, and climate and sound-proof fittings to offer guests and fantastic level of comfort.
It should be noted that the Venus apartment is in the same building and on the same floor as the Venus II apartment, making it possible for a larger group to spend their holidays together without however, sacrificing their own privacy.

The Vatican district is a quite and elegant area of the city centre of Rome adjacent to the Vatican City, the smallest independent country in the world. The area includes such resplendent sights as St. Peter’s Basilica (one of the world’s largest Christian churches), Castel St. Angelo and the astonishing Vatican Museums, one of the most beautiful and popular museums in the world. By crossing the bridge on the Tiber you can easily reach on foot the historical centre of Rome including Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish steps and the Coliseum. Also a five minutes' walk away you will find the charming Prati district: via Cola di Rienzo and Via Crescenzio with their countless boutiques represent a true paradise for shopping lovers.
The area is also very well served by public transports which provide a fast connection to Rome’s major historical sites and districts. The typical Trastevere neighborhood full of trendy bars and quality restaurants is reachable with a 20 minute walk along via della Lungara, once the private street of the Pope. Yet this is another fantastic and convenient location to discover all Rome’s wonders on foot!

Ana was very friendly and everything worked as was promised. The location is great. Of course the street is pretty noisy but that was not a surprise. The apartment was well equipped and there was also WiFi, which was not mentioned in the website.
