Elegant, fully refurbished, spacious and welcoming apartment a short distance from Piazza Navona
In an enviable location, from where you can comfortably set off to discover most of the historic centre on foot, the Plauto apartment is a splendid two bedroom accommodation of approximately 120 sq.m which can comfortably house 6 guests.
Taking added value from a considered renovation, the Plauto apartment is located on the third floor of a traditional building located in the historic centre and has elevator access. When you enter the apartment, you will find 5 steps which lead to the home's different rooms. The rooms have parquet and original terracotta flooring and are furnished in style, with a pleasing combination of antique objects, designer elements, precious decorations and modern-day details that contribute to this accommodation's overall comfort.
The living-room has a large area created for enjoying pleasant conversation around the fireplace, with an armchair, two sofa beds (for the 5th and 6th guests) and a TV, while a dining area, which completes the living-room, is furnished with a wooden table and 6 chairs. The two double bedrooms are characterised by sophisticated furnishings, and are both very tranquil as they overlook the interior court. The functional, fully equipped kitchen is cosy, creating a wonderful contrast between the green colour of the décor and the wooden table, while the apartment's two bathrooms are modern in style and are fitted with a shower each.

Piazza Navona is one of the most frequented place in Rome where both locals and tourists like to hang out even till late in the night thanks to the numerous outdoors cafés, restaurants and piano-bars. It is extremely pleasant just to sit on a cool stone bench and watch the world go by. Then join a table in one of the cafés that face onto the square and pep up your senses with an espresso or a cappuccino, while the locals shop and the street musicians capture the tourists. You will suddenly feel the Roman in you.
A two minutes walk will also have you in the amazing Piazza Campo de’ Fiori. Tradition would have it that the name, literally “field of flowers” comes from Flora, Pompeo's lover, but more likely it comes from the fact that in the late 1300's, the square was abandoned for a brief period, and became a meadow. Nowadays "Campo de' Fiori" represents one of the places where Rome shows its most authentic character from the early morning with its fabulous open air market, to the deepest night with entertainment offered by numerous bars, restaurants and "trattorie" of the area. We definitely recommend you to wander on your own and let yourself get lost on the beautiful cobblestone streets of the most fascinating area of the city.

Excellent location. Spacious for family of five. Contact persons for the property were helpful, attentive, and readily available. Cannot say more about how welcoming and accomodating they were. Would rent this apartment again in a heartbeat.
