The apartment:
Located on the 1st floor of an XVI Century building with NO elevator (there are just 9 steps to reach the apartment), the Pearl I has been recently renovated in an elegant and contemporary style. Guests will feel completely at ease from the moment they walk in, thanks to the captivating and warm atmosphere.
The living room of this apartment is comfortable and inviting the guests to relax after trekking around Rome historical centre. In this area you can find a TV, a dining table with four chairs and a double sofa bed suitable for the 3rd and the 4th guest. The open kitchen is functional and perfectly equipped with all comforts to cook some of the wonderful fresh fruit and vegetables bought at the local outdoor market.
The bedroom features a double bed, a desk with chair, a chest of drawers and a large wardrobe to store guests’ personal belongings. Finally, the bathroom is fresh and simple in look, and comes with a shower unit as well as a hairdryer. Bed linens and clean towels are all provided
The apartment is provided with air conditioning/heating, wireless internet and washing machine to guarantee guests a high level of comfort. All linens and towels are provided.

Trastevere/Gianicolo
In Roman dialect, Trastevere means "across the Tiber”. This picturesque medieval area in fact is located on the west bank of the Tiber. Part of the historical centre of Rome, Trastevere is the perfect place to glimpse a bit of the old world while still enjoying the lifestyle of today's Romans. From the cobblestone streets to the overhanging laundry lines, senses are pleasantly awakened with every step you take in this bohemian neighborhood.
Equidistant from the Coliseum and the Vatican, Trastevere is an ideal place to discover the secrets of Rome on foot. Saint Peter and the Vatican city are about twenty minutes away and upon crossing the Tiber you get to Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps, the Roman Forum, and many other sights, in no time at all (15 to 30 minutes walks). If you want to take public transportation, the area is extremely well served by the electric buses of Rome. The district becomes very lively at night as it is full of trendy bars and dozens of quality restaurants and pizzerias, where you can taste great Italian food at reasonable prices. Le quartier (Trastevere) est très sympa, très tranquille. Bien situé, même si un peu en dehors du centre, mais bien desservi par les bus. La personne qui nous a reçu à l'appartement (Gennaro) a été très serviable et ses conseils bien utile.

Très bon accueil à une heure que nous avons précisé à l'avance. L'appartement est très propre, superbement équipé, dans un quartier terrible. Bref nous réservons une nouvelle fois via ce site. Le prix des hotels à Rome est hors de prix alors cet appartement est parfait
