The apartment:
Located on the 1st floor of an ancient building with NO elevator, the Adriano has been recently renovated in an elegant and contemporary style. The entire apartment is designed tastefully and is also characterized by its parquet wood flooring and exposed original beams.
This modern and perfectly organized space houses a comfortable double bed, a spacious wardrobe for guests’ belongings, a dining table with two chairs and a chaise lounge where you can relax after a hard day of sightseeing. The open kitchen is fully equipped if you choose to cook at home the fruit and vegetables bought at the nearby outdoor market. Finally, a fresh and simple bathroom completes the apartment and includes a shower unit.
The apartment is provided with air conditioning/heating, nespresso, cable internet and Ipod dock station to guarantee guests a high level of comfort. All linens and towels are provided.
The Adriano apartment is one of three apartments in this building; its sister apartments are the Marco Aurelio and the Tiberio apartments. So it could be perfect for a family gathering or a group of friends looking to spend a quiet and quality filled break in Rome.

Trastevere/Gianicolo
In Roman dialect, Trastevere means "across the Tiber”. This picturesque medieval area in fact is located on the west bank of the Tiber. Part of the historical centre of Rome, Trastevere is the perfect place to glimpse a bit of the old world while still enjoying the lifestyle of today's Romans. From the cobblestone streets to the overhanging laundry lines, senses are pleasantly awakened with every step you take in this bohemian neighborhood.
Equidistant from the Coliseum and the Vatican, Trastevere is an ideal place to discover the secrets of Rome on foot. Saint Peter and the Vatican city are about twenty minutes away and upon crossing the Tiber you get to Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps, the Roman Forum, and many other sights, in no time at all (15 to 30 minutes walks). If you want to take public transportation, the area is extremely well served by the electric buses of Rome. The district becomes very lively at night as it is full of trendy bars and dozens of quality restaurants and pizzerias, where you can taste great Italian food at reasonable prices. Het appartement is prima bevallen. Gezellig ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Tijdige check-in zodat we meteen de stad in konden. Bij de check-out was hij ook precies op het afgesproken tijdstip aanwezig. Goed bed om goed te kunnen slapen. Appartement is wel gelegen boven een gezellige bar. Dit brengt wat geluid met zich mee, maar hebben wij ons niet aan gestoord. Appartement ligt in Trastevere: hele gezellige buurt om vooral s'avonds te borrelen en een lekker hapje te eten!!! Badkamer is niet modern: douche erg klein. Wel netjes verzorgd. Voor herhaling vatbaar!

I loved how convenient and close it was to everything! We could walk just about any where. Also when arriving our contact guide was very friendly and helpful as well as the apartment was super clean upon arrival!

L'accueil de la personne responsable de l'appartement a été impeccable. Également, le service de voiture à l'arrivée de l'aéroport et au départ a été impeccable et à l'heure. Je n'ai attendu après personne. L'appartement était très propre, il y avait du café en quantité suffisante pour la cafetière et j'ai beaucoup apprécié qu'il y ait des fournitures de base comme le sucre, le sel, l'huile, etc. L'air climatisé fonctionnait très bien et ne faisait pas trop de bruit. L'appartement est situé dans un quartier formidable pour profiter des restaurants et cafés le soir et il est situé près du centre de Rome; on peut tout faire à pied. J'ai vraiment beaucoup aimé de façon générale.

The Krupps coffee machine allowed us to relax in the morning and enjoy a good coffee in bed. Trastevere is also a great neighbourhood. Location was great.

Das Apartement entsprach exakt unseren durch die Bilder vermittelten Vorstellungen und überraschte zudem durch die vollständige Ausstattung, die es durchaus ermöglicht, sich eine Woche oder auch länger in Rom aufzuhalten und sich dabei wie zu Hause zu fühlen. Die Lage ist bestechend und gestattet ein fußläufiges Erreichen aller Sehenswürdigkeiten. Ob Besuch des Vatikans (ca. 30 min), Besichtigung des Forum Romanum, des Colloseums oder des Palatin (ebenfalls je 30 min) oder Erreichen der Innenstadt um Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona und Via del Corso (ca. 15-20 min) sind perfekt möglich. Das Viertel Trastevere besticht durch gemütliche Gassen und ein reges Leben auf den Straßen und ist dadurch besonders in den Abendstunden ein besonders angenehmer Bereich der Stadt. Fazit: empfehlenswert!

The location was right in the heart of Trastevere. The apartment looks better than the picture and is well equipped for a nice stay in Rome. Very clean room, comfortable bed, and beautiful decor. We look forward to our next trip to Rome and are definitely going to be staying here again!

Very close to downtown Rome, within walking distance of every major attraction. There were plenty of stores and restaurants/bars very close to the apartment as well. Francesca was extremely helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She even lent us a phone and a computer! Also, we really liked the bar downstairs. It was really fun at night. We will definitely stay in Trastevere when we return to Rome.
