The apartment:
Located on the first floor of a small and charming building with elevator, this superb apartment has been recently renovated (October 2009) and designed to the highest standards. It has wonderful features such as wenge hardwood floors, double glass windows, armored front door and exceptionally high ceilings throughout, giving a rare feeling of space. The general style of the interior is luxurious, elegant and refined, from the overall design scheme down to the very smallest detail touch.
On entering the apartment, you will feel drawn into the superbly appointed living room. This room is beautifully decorated by using a combination of antique and modern design pieces which create an extremely sophisticated and warm atmosphere. In this seating area you will find a large comfy sofa bed (which provides additional sleeping space for the fifth and the sixth guest)and two armchairs as well as numerous paintings, a flatscreen TV and DVD player.
The master bedroom is also very welcoming. It accommodates a beautiful white leather double bed and a large leather trunk to store guests’ belongings (a fitted cupboard space is also available to guests in the living room). This bedroom also features an elegant en-suite marble bathroom with a fantastic oversize shower.
A stylish staircase provides access to the second bedroom on the second level. Here, you will find another magnificent room with a queen size double bed and an en-suite design bathroom with a shower unit.
The kitchen is modern and new and fully equipped with everything one needs for daily living and is perfect for preparing any kind of meal. In the dining area you can also find a contemporary glass and steel table with four chairs.
This luxurious apartment is equipped with air conditioning/central heating, wireless internet , flatscreen TVs in every room, to enhance the comfort and allow you the enjoyment of a perfect Roman experience.

Piazza Navona
Piazza Navona is one of the most frequented place in Rome where both locals and tourists like to hang out even till late in the night thanks to the numerous outdoors cafés, restaurants and piano-bars. It is extremely pleasant just to sit on a cool stone bench and watch the world go by. Then join a table in one of the cafés that face onto the square and pep up your senses with an espresso or a cappuccino, while the locals shop and the street musicians capture the tourists. You will suddenly feel the Roman in you.
A two minutes walk will also have you in the amazing Piazza Campo de’ Fiori. Tradition would have it that the name, literally “field of flowers” comes from Flora, Pompeo's lover, but more likely it comes from the fact that in the late 1300's, the square was abandoned for a brief period, and became a meadow. Nowadays "Campo de' Fiori" represents one of the places where Rome shows its most authentic character from the early morning with its fabulous open air market, to the deepest night with entertainment offered by numerous bars, restaurants and "trattorie" of the area. We definitely recommend you to wander on your own and let yourself get lost on the beautiful cobblestone streets of the most fascinating area of the city.

Proximity to sights and local grocery stores. We were able to walk everywhere. You do not ask in the survey - but Roberto in Rome was very responsive and helpful. Also, the car service to and from the airport was good and reasonably priced. We apprecited you arranging that for us - it was a big help.

LOCATION!!! Cleanliness - great for two couples (only if one couple can climb stairs. Separate sleeping quarters with private baths. Very secure. It is like you are sleeping in a vault.

Location was perfect,just opposite Piatzza Navona for sightseeing and restaurants.One could do all major sights on foot,however buses were available just outside.The apartment was spacious and well laid out with one of the bedrooms upstairs so everyone had their own space.There is a bakery downstairs and a Spar supermarket closeby.Local contact Simona was brlliant.
