The apartment:

This magnificent apartment is located on the 3rd floor of a beautiful XVII century building with elevator. Furnishings are an appropriate mix of comfortable contemporary and antique pieces set off against polished wooden floors, beautiful prints and paintings reflecting the romance of the setting. Colors throughout are soft and muted, highlighting the apartment’s natural elegance.
The main living space is extremely spacious and stands out thanks to its incredible high ceilings with original white wood beams. Here you can find a fantastic corner sofa with chaise longue, a double sofa bed which provides additional sleeping space for the 4th and 5th guest and a dining table with four chairs. It is really a pleasure to relax in this sophisticated yet comfortable area after a busy day spent sightseeing around the marvels of Rome… This welcoming room is also blessed by an abundance of natural light – an explosion of good cheer all day long!

From the living room a small hallway will lead to you to the functional kitchen which is completely outfitted for cooks of all kinds. The charming bedroom accommodates a double bed and next to it you will find a built-in wardrobe to store guests’ belongings. This quiet room overlooks an inside courtyard so a great night’s sleep will be guaranteed. This bedroom also has a superb en-suite bathroom with an oversize bath tub/shower unit for some moments of relaxation. Finally, a beautifully designed second bathroom features a shower unit and fresh towels ready to use upon you arrival.

The location was perfect and the airconditioning was such a haven to retreat to in the heat of August. Travelling with my husband and my go getting 80 year old Mother the apartment was ideal for us. The tiny lift worked, being up on the third floor,which was great for Mum. The ensuite bathroom was great for us in the one bedroom apartment which left the other bathroom for Mum who stayed on the sofa bed in the living room. Pleanty of privacy for all of us. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the restaurants near us, the markets and the hop on hop off buses with its stop just over the road. The apartment is situated between to Piazza Navonna and Campo de' Fiori. Looking out our living room window we watched the world go by in the lane way down below, which was so perfect for our Roman holiday. The owner met us without a hitch arriving on his motorbike and offered to help us with our suitcases. The apartment was lovely and quiet, surprising for all that people traffic below at night. The hot water didn't work one morning, but only a small hitch, cause it worked the rest of the duration. On our first evening we walked to the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain, back to a restaurant in the Piazza Navonna for a late meal. Wonderfully close to the aprtment. We also walked back to the apartment from our visit to the Vatican city. Very conveniently located.
