A comfortable one bedroom apartment close to St. Peter’s Basilica!

This pretty self catering apartment can accommodate up to 3 people and is a great choice for a couple or a small family visiting the eternal city. Located just a few minutes away from the Vatican City, the Aurora I apartment is a perfect home base to fully discover and experience Rome.

The apartment:

Located on the first floor of a building with elevator, this special apartment blends elegant classic décor with chic modern styling. The white reworked antiques, the elegant chandelier and other particular fitting details create a welcome and cozy atmosphere.

The bright bedroom is spacious and accommodates a double bed and an elegant chest of drawers for guests’ belongings. This room is also a comfortable living space as here the guests will find a single sofa bed and a TV. An additional single bed can be provided in the bedroom on request. The modern kitchen is perfectly equipped to ensure a hassle free stay and it includes a dining table with chairs. The stylish bathroom is integrally finished with mosaic tiling and features a shower cabinet and a hairdryer. There are fresh towels ready for use upon arrival.

One of the benefits of having two apartments in the same building and on the same floor, like the Aurora I and Aurora II, is that we can accommodate a slightly larger group of friends or family (up to 7 people) that may want to holiday together in Rome but at the same time enjoy some privacy.

The Aurora I apartment has air conditioning and heating to ensure the guests comfort throughout the year....such a cozy layout combined with its convenient location make this apartment an excellent choice for a great vacation in the eternal city!

Please note that this apartment is close to the St. Peter train station. Thanks to the double glazed windows, it is not particularly noisy although you can hear the trains when they pass by. The St. Peter station closes at around 23.

Vaticano

The Vatican district is a quite and elegant area of the city centre of Rome adjacent to the Vatican City, the smallest independent country in the world. The area includes such resplendent sights as St. Peter’s Basilica (one of the world’s largest Christian churches), Castel St. Angelo and the astonishing Vatican Museums, one of the most beautiful and popular museums in the world. By crossing the bridge on the Tiber you can easily reach on foot the historical centre of Rome including Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish steps and the Coliseum. Also a five minutes' walk away you will find the charming Prati district: via Cola di Rienzo and Via Crescenzio with their countless boutiques represent a true paradise for shopping lovers.
The area is also very well served by public transports which provide a fast connection to Rome’s major historical sites and districts. The typical Trastevere neighborhood full of trendy bars and quality restaurants is reachable with a 20 minute walk along via della Lungara, once the private street of the Pope. Yet this is another fantastic and convenient location to discover all Rome’s wonders on foot!

Centrally located and affordable, offers great value for money. Easily accesible by trains at St Peter's station & buses within walking distance. There is a Carrefour express supermarket close by and numerous dining options. I liked the new kitchen cabinet with lots of kitchen utensils which were new and good quality. The apartment was clean and well presented. A good Bosch washing machine is provided which was very useful for sweaty clothes in the summer heat. Alessia was kind and helpful with our luggage problems. Kelvin, Singapore 22 June 2011
