This elegant and exclusive 90 m2 apartment combines the comfort you would expect from a grand hotel together with a terrific location, making your holiday in Rome unforgettable!

This luxurious two bedroom apartment is ideal for large family, a family reunion or a special trip with treasured friends. Best of all you can walk to all the major sites from this unbelievable and priceless location, just in the heart of the historical center. Undoubtedly, this is a great choice for absorbing the pleasure of the very best of Rome.

The area surrounding the apartment:

The Gaia apartment is located right in the heart of Rome historical centre, just behind Piazza Navona, one of the most famous and arguably the most beautiful squares of the eternal city. The piazza, unspoiled by new building or traffic, is today one of the best places to see Baroque architecture in Rome. Its oval shape results from the ruins of the Stadium of Domitian, lying underneath.

Navona square is also one of the most frequented place in Rome where both locals and tourists like to hang out even till late in the night thanks to the numerous outdoor cafés, restaurants and piano-bars. It is extremely pleasant just to sit on a cool stone bench and watch the world go by. Then join a table in one of the cafès that face onto the square and pep up your senses with an espresso or a cappuccino, while the locals shop and the street musicians capture the tourists. You will suddenly feel the Roman in you. When you are tired of people-watching, wander on your own and let yourself get lost on the beautiful cobblestone streets of the most fascinating area of the city.

The memorable stats of this unbelievable location include a 2-minute walk to the Campo de’ Fiori; 5 minutes to the Pantheon; 10 minutes to the Trevi fountain and the Spanish Steps; The Vatican and St. Peters a mere 20 minutes walk; by crossing the nearby pedestrian bridge Ponte Sisto in a 15 minute walk you reach Trastevere. Do we really need to say more?

The apartment:

Located on the first floor of a beautiful 18-century building with NO elevator, the Gaia apartment is situated on a pedestrian street off a small square, right at the back of Piazza Navona.

From the art adorning its walls to the tasteful high quality furnishings, this sophisticated two-bedroom apartment has a distinctly Roman flair. Wood ceiling beams, terra cotta flooring, frescoed walls and crystal chandeliers give a feel for the past, while up-to-date appliances and amenities provide modern comfort.

This enchanting apartment features a master bedroom with a double bed, an ample wardrobe and a stylish chest of drawers. The second bedroom offers two single beds, which can be made up separately or pushed together as a king-size bed, and a large wardrobe for guests’ belongings.
The spacious and elegant living room is the ideal space to unwind after a busy day spent sightseeing the marvels of Rome. Here guests can relax by listening to some music, watching satellite TV or sending a “wish-you-were-here” email. This welcoming area includes also a lovely dining table with chairs for up to six people and a comfy double sofa bed which provides additional sleeping space for the fifth and the sixth guest.

The kitchen is small but fully equipped with all mod cons should the guests choose to prepare a meal at some point during the stay. The two full bathrooms are elegant and adorned with marble. One bathroom has a bathtub/shower unit while the second one has a shower stall.
The Gaia apartment also includes air conditioning, autonomous heating, and double glazed windows in all rooms to provide the guests with the maximum level of comfort.

The exceptional comfort, the authentic atmosphere of a Roman neighborhood, and the warm furnishings of this beautiful luxury apartment all combine to make your stay a memory of a lifetime.
 Please, wait...

Piazza Navona

Piazza Navona is one of the most frequented place in Rome where both locals and tourists like to hang out even till late in the night thanks to the numerous outdoors cafés, restaurants and piano-bars. It is extremely pleasant just to sit on a cool stone bench and watch the world go by. Then join a table in one of the cafés that face onto the square and pep up your senses with an espresso or a cappuccino, while the locals shop and the street musicians capture the tourists. You will suddenly feel the Roman in you.
A two minutes walk will also have you in the amazing Piazza Campo de’ Fiori. Tradition would have it that the name, literally “field of flowers” comes from Flora, Pompeo's lover, but more likely it comes from the fact that in the late 1300's, the square was abandoned for a brief period, and became a meadow. Nowadays "Campo de' Fiori" represents one of the places where Rome shows its most authentic character from the early morning with its fabulous open air market, to the deepest night with entertainment offered by numerous bars, restaurants and "trattorie" of the area. We definitely recommend you to wander on your own and let yourself get lost on the beautiful cobblestone streets of the most fascinating area of the city.

这家地段不错,出行走路很方便,基本就20分钟左右可以到所有的点,吃饭超级方便,楼下就是一些非常有名的餐厅。比如左边小弄堂里,有一家叫图书馆的,服务一流啊。

Superb location for all the major tourist attractions. Appartment spacious, well furnished, homely and quiet. Air conditioning in all the rooms was a welcome relief from the August heat! Excellent proximity to local shops and bars and within 2 minutes of lively Piazza Navona square. Genaro very helpful and arranged taxi back to airport for us. Can't wait to come back.

The location, comfort and beauty of the apartment. It was beautifully decorated with very high quality classy furniture. The view: Overlooked a charming street full of restaurants, small shops, and wine bars. There was social activity until late in the night, but with the windows closed, we didn't hear much. It did not effect our sleep. Air conditioning: We didn't think we were going to need it, but it was warmer than we expected this week in Rome and we appreciated being able to turn on the air and it worked very well. The bathrooms: Both were absolutely gorgeous with everything you need. I think the water in Rome is hard, so bring hair conditioner with you. The kitchen staples that were appreciated: Sugar, coffee, tea, salt, pepper, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. The kitchen is small, but has everything you need for light meals. the location is fabulous. Use bus 64 (1 block away) to get everywhere, but for the first 3 days we walked. It is a wonderful place to walk and most attractions we wanted to see were within easy walking distance (30 minutes to the Vatican) No elevator but the apartment is one level up and the stairway is wide, easy rise and marble. the restaurant next door is very nice. We enjoyed meals there twice and in fact, were the best we had while in Rome. For the potential prudes out there: A tasteful nude painting is in the living room over the couch. We loved it. Friendly Rentals were GREAT to work with! Thanks so much!!
There was nothing to not like about this apartment. It was gorgeous and classy.

We loved the location, the apartment is decorated nicely. So near eating and Piazza Navona, taxi's are easy to get there. I would go back for sure. Very clean. We did not cook just made coffee and used the fridge for water and coke.

Scott, United States - 19 April 2010

The location was great. Right in the midst of things, without being too hectic or loud. The apartment itself was very comfortable and nicely put together. It was graciously furnished, with good closet space. It was obviously not furnished just to rent out--and that makes the experience all the more fun. Upon arrival, the TV didn't work, but within hours a couple of guys came and got it to work, and that was great.
