The Major apartment is beautiful restored, well laid out, tastefully furnished, bright and cheerful. This fantastic apartment boasts of an adorable terrace from which you can afford and incomparable and priceless view of the eternal city. Whilst not in the historical center of Rome, the apartment area is very well served by public transportation and it is also within walking distance to many tourist attractions.

The Major apartment is situated very close to the popular Porta Maggiore, one of the eastern gates of the ancient but well-preserved 3rd century Aurelian Walls. Parts of the surrounding area are being redeveloped and renovated, and this location it’s certainly convenient in terms of easy access to Rome’s historical center.

The apartment is very well served by public transportation as Porta maggiore is a major hub for tram and bus services and the nearby Manzoni underground station (line A) allows guest to quickly reach any of the cultural and historical attractions on your list of Rome must-sees.
In 10 to 30 minutes walk from the apartment you can find the Castrense Amphitheater, the second hand market of Via Sannio, the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.

Two of the four major Basilicas of Rome are also easily reachable on foot: St. John the Lateran, the oldest church in town, and St. Mary Major, considered by many to be the most beautiful church in Rome after St Peter's. The Major apartment is approximately a 20 minute walk from Stazione Termini, the main railway station in Rome. From here, you can catch trains to Fiumicino and Ciampino airports as well as all destinations in Italy.

On the 6th floor of an old pasta factory reconverted into luxury accommodations, the Major apartments is located in a tranquil street adjacent to the Aurelian walls, the city walls built during the reign of the roman emperor Aurelian. This lovely apartment will certainly not disappoint its guests who will feel captivated by a warm atmosphere from the moment they walk in.

Decorated with great style and charm, this special one bedroom apartment develops on two levels. On entering the Major apartment, you will find a large open floor plan which combines the living room with the kitchen area. The living room is a perfect place where to relax all your senses after a day of city adventuring and comes with an elegant glass table, 32” flat TV and two comfy sofas, one of which has a pull out bed to provide sleeping space for the third and fourth guest. This welcoming area is blessed by an abundance of natural light – an explosion of good cheer all day long!

The living room leads out onto a lovely terrace with exceptional views of Rome. It’s an incredible treat to enjoy your breakfast or just to admire a beautiful sunset in this little private paradise.
On this first level, you can also find the modern and functional kitchen, completely outfitted for cooks of all kinds, and a full bathroom with bathtub/shower unit.

Through some stylish wood stairs, you will then access the second level of the apartment which offers a very spacious and elegant bedroom. This inviting room has a queen size double bed, walk-in closet, and a single bed to accommodate a fifth guest. The bedroom comes also with a designer en-suite bathroom which has shower unit and fresh towels ready to use upon arrival.
And yes, the apartment has air conditioning and heating to ensure the guests comfort throughout the year

Piazza V Emanuele II

Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, also know as Piazza Vittorio, is located in the vibrant Esquilino district, the historical neighborhood named after one of the seven “Roman hills”. Parts of the surrounding area have undergone renovations and this ancient Roman quarter is certainly convenient in terms of easy access to Rome’s historical center.

From here you will be able to reach on foot the Coliseum, the Roman Forum and the Domus Aurea, Nero’s Golden house constructed after the great fire of Rome. Among other popular sites in this area, two of the four major Basilicas of Rome are easily reachable on foot: St. John the Lateran, the oldest church in town, and St. Mary the Mayor, considered by many to be the most beautiful church in Rome after St Peter's.
In this district you can also find the colorful "Mercato Esquilino" which is an indoor market of ancient origins where numerous booths display a bountiful array of tantalizing fruits and vegetables.
From the close Stazione Termini, the main railway station in Rome, you will be able to catch trains to Fiumicino and Ciampino airports as well as all destinations in Italy.
