Description - The Tito Apartment in Rome
A cozy apartment to make all your dreams come true…
Isn’t this what you have always dreamed of? Ordering a cappuccino in Piazza del Pantheon to savor the view of the dome, shopping in the Spanish Steps area, enjoying a glass of wine in Piazza Navona at sunset, throwing a coin into the Trevi Fountain to ensure a return to Rome? Go ahead and pinch yourself because your dreamy vacation in Rome can come true if you decide to stay at this fantastic apartment. Its location is unmatched, just in front of the Pantheon, and will allow you to walk to all of Rome’s major sites.
The area surrounding the apartment:
The Tito apartment is situated in the true heart of Rome, just a few steps from the breathtaking Pantheon, the oldest standing domed structure in Rome. Both during the day and night, you will never tire of looking at the Pantheon and marvel at this wonder that looks, as Michelangelo said, more like the work of angels than men.
This location is really the epicenter of Rome's must-see sites, as you will be only a few minutes walking distance away from Piazza Navona, the Trevi fountain, the Spanish Steps and the shopping district, Campo de’ Fiori, Piazza del Popolo, the Coliseum, Trastevere district and the Vatican. Be sure to allow yourself enough time to wander around and lose yourself in the very streets where Julius Caesar and Lucrezia Borgia once trod. A slice of history unfolds at every turn: an ancient fountain, a long-forgotten statue, a ruined temple dedicated to some long-faded cult.
Also, a few short steps from the front door of this apartment you will find a great variety of exclusive cafés, outdoor bars and superb restaurants. If your desire is to experience the real essence of Rome, you cannot stay in a better location!
The apartment:
This full-of-charm one bedroom apartment is located on the 3nd floor of an ancient building with NO elevator but it is well worth the three flights of stairs you have to walk up as it also has a wonderful terrace!! Guests will feel welcome as soon as they enter the apartment....The furnishings are a pleasing blend of contemporary pieces with antiques and paintings carefully chosen to produce a warm and comfortable atmosphere.
The living room area of the apartment encompasses a double pullout sofa bed, which can be used by the third and fourth guest, and an elegant dining table suitable for four people. In this room the visitors can relax and enjoy watching some TV, or catch a movie on the DVD. All the artwork, which can be found throughout the apartment, is of course original and most of the pieces were created by the owner’s father, who is a local artist.
The living room opens onto a lovely terrace which is an intimate green oasis where you can chill out after a long day of sightseeing...undoubtedly a true luxury in the heart of Rome.
The bedroom offers an ancient black-and-red tile floor, a warmly-colored handmade rug on the wall, a floor to ceiling wardrobe, good-quality contemporary furnishings, and exceptionally-high ceilings crowned by beautiful, exposed, wood beams.
The bathroom is simple and fresh and comes with a shower unit, toilet, sink, hair-dryer, etc and fresh towels ready for use upon arrival...the kitchen is small but perfectly equipped to ensure a hassle free stay. And yes this cozy accommodation comes with AC/Heat and ADSL internet.
The location, charm and comfort of the Tito apartment are exceptional and should please those looking for a traditional, authentic experience of the eternal city.
