Wonderful 110 m2 apartment with a terrific location, right in Piazza Navona!

The charm, quality and comfort of this apartment are exceptional and should please those looking for a traditional, authentic experience of the eternal city. Best of all the location, virtually in the heart of Rome, is priceless and ideal for exploring any of Rome’s most popular sights on foot.

The area surrounding the apartment:

The Michelangelo apartment is located right in the heart of Rome historical centre, just behind Piazza Navona, one of the most famous and arguably the most beautiful square of the eternal city. The piazza, unspoiled by new building or traffic, is today one of the best places to see Baroque architecture in Rome. Its oval shape results from the ruins of the Stadium of Domitian, lying underneath.

Navona square is also one of the most frequented place in Rome where both locals and tourists like to hang out even till late in the night thanks to the numerous outdoors cafés, restaurants and piano-bars. It is extremely pleasant just to sit on a cool stone bench and watch the world go by. Then join a table in one of the cafès that face onto the square and pep up your senses with an espresso or a cappuccino, while the locals shop and the street musicians capture the tourists. You will suddenly feel the Roman in you. When you are tired of people-watching, wander on your own and let yourself get lost on the beautiful cobblestone streets of the most fascinating area of the city.

The memorable stats of this unbelievable location include a 2-minute walk to the Campo de' Fiori; 5 minutes to the Pantheon; 10 minutes to the Trevi fountain and the Spanish Steps; The Vatican and St. Peters a mere 20 minutes walk; by crossing the nearby pedestrian bridge Ponte Sisto in a 15 minute walk you reach Trastevere. Do we really need to say more?

The apartment:

This charming and traditional Roman apartment is situated on a small square, at the back of Piazza Navona, which provides shelter and calm from the animated neighborhood at the doorstep. Located on a second floor (there is an elevator) of a handsome building dating from the late-1800s, this two bedroom apartment is a wonderful choice to relax and enjoy the very best of Rome in a privileged and rare ambiance.

The apartment offers a precious wooden floor enhanced by quality and soft-colored furnishings, marvellous Murano chandeliers and exceptionally-high ceilings crowned by exquisite, exposed, original beams.

The master bedroom has a double queen sized bed while the second bedroom contains two single beds (that can be reconfigured to a double bed upon request). The decor of each bedroom has been kept tasteful and elegant, and there are large wardrobes in both bedrooms so that all guests will have plenty of room for their belongings.

The living area of this apartment is warm and inviting the guests to relax after trekking around Rome historical centre. Here the guests can avail of a flat TV, DVD and the stereo. In this area you will also find two sofas, one of which is an individual sofa bed where the fifth guest can sleep, and a dining table. The original mosaic tiling which has been preserved gives a unique and distinct look to the living area.

The bathroom is as elegant as the rest of the apartment and comes with a bathtub/shower unit.
The kitchen is small but functional and equipped with all comforts to make your visit to Rome easy and stress free. Bed linens, bathroom paper and fresh clean towels are all provided. And yes there is central heating and air conditioning in the bedrooms.

The Michelangelo apartment is the perfect accommodation to make you fall in love with Rome and return home with warm and vibrant memories that will stay with you forever.
